A fortnight ago today we, in conjunction with our friends in Ammatar and Minmatar space, undertook to create an Alliance, to extend the principles of our Organization, and to safe guard the future of all.
Our mission was simple; to work and learn together, to grow in wealth and experience, to seek our fortunes, and to have fun in the Universe of Eve. Over time we grew, and as our achievements increased, so did our profile. Eventually, the combined forces of progress and fate conspired to present us with adversity, but with adversity came new opportunities. New friendships were borne from conflict as existing ones were strengthened by the challenges we weathered together, and we grew to learn from those who had opposed us.
Now we find ourselves at a crossroads. Other Corporations with shared histories and hopes have joined us as we discover what the road ahead has in store, and which directions we will take. We could go backwards, to the well worn safety of our past, but we have chosen to go forwards, to see what our undiscovered futures hold in store. New obstacles lie ahead, and existing ones continue to drive us onwards - among them the good pilots of that merry Band of Brothers who, with the help of our allies, we have matched with success in space. But we know that it is only though unity and the talents of our friends that we have earned our victories, and we can only stand together stronger as long as new allies step forward to frame and meet new aspirations.
A new age has dawned for us, and it is with both awe and trepidation at the challenges and opportunities ahead that we invite you, our fellow pilots in the Universe of Eve, to join with us in this enterprise, to embark on the journey that awaits us and, together, to forge a new age.

BTW, how many such threads will the EVE community have to endure, where there are only words, something that OHGOD are quite good at doing (just kill a thread with junk, so no one will even read it) ?

We are trying to improve our tarnished reputation. We have hired a few PR firms to help us in the campaign, and they recommended a grass roots effort. We come out to the people of Eve looking for friendship and brotherhood. Looking to build a bright future for all of us and the next generations of Eve Online players.
