Assume both fleets are using 'safest route' and are at war with eachother. We'll use GoonSwarm (rens) and Repo Industries(jita) as an example. edit: fixed typo.

Too many variables to be completely accurate but i would venture a guess at around 30 parsecs.

But since the gang from Jita will have travelled 1.33 times farther when they meet, we take 13 x 1.33 = 17.29. The 17th system from Jita is Colelie!

Bumping is kind of useless in empire because there are no sieged dreads and no undock area since they are travlling from - to.. then they would fight somewhere around Deltole / Colelie
