My corp is busy trying to clear Orfrold of macro haulers , but they don't really seem to stop. Numbers in local are much lower than they were a month ago however , and they seem to bring new characters to resume their farming duties.
Some of the farmers who stay now have negative standings for Poteque Pharmaceuticals and their agents , yet they keep running courier missions. They have created several player corps , possibly to pool standings , that we wardecced. Their faction standings remain very high however.
It is likely that most of them have decent social skills to improve those standings , but I'm not sure how agents work when they have low personal standings. Is it enough to have high faction standings to take missions from a L4 Q20 agent ? How is the reward affected ? I hope faction standings do not max it out when the farmer has a corp and personal standing of -3.
How far is it possible to nuke standings ? I intend to make farmer characters worthless for those missions. It occurs to me that they might have been running missions for a very long time , so there might be an opportunity to utterly ruin their investment.

pretty sure they can run the missions on faction standing alone, and if they run no storyline missions their faction standing will stay at 0, and they only need 1 player with high faction standing to keep the standings at a high positive level.
although i do believe that having low standings to the agent/corp will lower their rewards, by lowering effective quality on the agent.

Ahh finally, i hate those orfrold farmers.
As for ruin standing, depends... IIRC most of the characters 1-2 months so you will be able to ruin their standing so they won't be able to do lvl4. But tbh for farmers it won't be that difficult to rise standing again.

if faction, corp OR personal standing is <= -2 (-5 with diplomacy V) they wont be able to work for the agent / corp / faction (whichever adjusted standing is <= -2)

IF you don't mind my asking how do you ruin their standinngs?
In my old corp we used to have fun with macro jetcan miners until they left and we started to have to mine ourselves again (but boy did we make some isk off their ore!) |

Lia, its rather against the EULA to sell the ore you stole from Macro Miners. Yes, the ISK is in hands of a real player. Yes, it feels completely right to do so. But no, the ore is mined by a macro miner, and therefore the results stay the same: violation vs the EULA.
Better to steal the ore, put it in your jetcan, and blow it up.

There's another system nearby rens (not on the route to orfrold) which is also infected. Maybe the orfrold ones moved there.

If you blow them up with their mission cargo they will fail the mission (and lose standings)
If you manage to get them below -2 modified to the corp, you win.

even if you manage to get them below -2 modified standing with an agent you will have a small victory ... because he wont be able to use that agent anymore
