I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, so Polaris, feel free to kick my post out of here  .
I am looking for an event manager/athletic director for Eve University. I just started and want to get some organization in place before taking students. I think it would be very cool for the new players if there were regular event. We can also make frig teams that we can enter in external events.
It would be great if someone out there with a creative mind could think of some games we could play as well. FrigFootball? Playing tag with light missiles? Bestower wrestling?
In short, I need some icing on the cake!

Well as to the events us players can do them ourselves but I agree that it would have to be somthing that the GM's agree too so that it won't contradict the storyline.
But this other thing is not really an eventas more to something I thing this game might be missing.
Casino stations.
Imagine gamble turnirs like the ones on Cloud City, so if there could be place players could go like a gamble lounge and do some game of chance, while you're waiting on a job throw a uick hand of sabbac (it's just a dream since I ahve fallen in love with sabbac the first time I read how it is played).

ur posting alot today? anyway ideas:
*Relay race - Use a good old corpse on a race around planets
*item find - whoever gets all the items on a list from npc pirates wins
*Frig tornament - an obvious one :)

How about a Marathonrace?
You have some waypoints to about 4-5 systems (with both safe and unsafe routes, or only safe/unsafe) and on each waypoint thirs a Person you need to find somewhere at someplace you can warp to... that pesron will tell the next waypoint guy that your finished the prev waypoint so you cant cheat....
This migth only be the basics as you can put in alot of updates to this idea.. but i sure would think that a race like this would be fun..
you can maybe place the WP-PERSONS at a longrange from the waypoint so youll need MWDS/afterburners to speed up... say 500km from an gate for an example..
WTF this actually sounds fun.... tell me if you guys ever see a race like this and im in!!

frigate demo derby - this is easier on newbies since their clones don't cost much and they generally don't have implants.
Attach smartbombs to frigates, and just have at each other. Obviously you need a bundle of peeps, probably upwards of ten. But my GOD, the mayhem :D.
In true demo derby fashion, any frigate, any setup, so long as it doesn't involve any other offensive weaponry.

I love the smart bomb frigs demolition thing! i wouldnt do it, as ive got implants, but i sooo would if i ever lost em :)

Good ideas. Keep them coming and hopefully we'll make some work. Someone also came up with capture the flag type thing. Seems viable in EVE...
