They enjoy grindy games with a more social networking/Facebook-like interaction/interface. they also like cash shops basically, asians want to play 16 hours a day and gain .0003% of a level, so they spend $100 on "super xp boosters" to get 10 times the XP. after 2 years when they hit level 45 (max 100 of course) they will make a new character or buy flashy mounts and sit in town.

And i think it went very well for them. Chinese server has less conflict and their pvp strategies/doctrines/fits/EFTwarriors are somewhat lagging behind. If you are interested to join, there was a huge guide how to register and setup chinese eve client and localize it. As well as many translations and usefull things. For Love. For Peace. For Honor. For None of the Above. For Pony!

Not even close. If you call Sunday evening a peak time, then 50,000 is not a bad estimate for a Sunday, but during the week it's quite a bit less. I logged on the Sunday just gone and there was over 47k accounts online, the week before it was just over 50k.

Chinese poverty right now as defined by the world bank, and reported by the chinese gov. is 16%. But that figure is disputed as being purposely reported low. World poverty with the same parameters minus the chinese population is 15.6 percent. Your point?
