waferzankko Caldari Bears Inc Sylph Alliance	Posted - 2007.12.19 23:24:00 - [1] Has most of eve come to the point that we think bob was pure evil itself? and I am sure that most of us think that goons are good, at least they try to be good. I think this will go down in the books as a case of good beating evil like a red headed step child(no offense to red heads) Remember ascn vs bob, both where kinda bad, ascn was not evil but bob was and is evil and it made me have a sad face inside when bob beat them.

Not only the fact that both had their ups and downs But Evil and Good are in the eyes of the beholder. Yes, some of the tactics they used weren't very popular amongst the community, but they (just like us) were forced to employ every available asset in an attempt to win this war. One could say that Goonswarm and the coalition as a whole forced BoB into using those exploits. If it weren't for the 5 to 1 odds BoB faced on a daily basis, I'm positive they would have avoided the dirty tricks and played just as fair as we did. You can't blame them for doing what they had to do. So is BoB evil? Absolutely not. Is Goonswarm evil? I don't believe so. Is war the real evil here? Yes, and I think that's something we can all agree on. - Orangir

Bob did what BoB had to do to survive and we can't hold that against them. Bringing it up would probably just lead to trolls and we don't want that.

Maybe lawful neutral, but only if you see lawful as the opposite alignment to chaotic and not in 'concord' or whatever terms. Depends also, on who you ask. Ex-ASCN will mostly say that BoB are just evil, while the GBC will say 'lawful good'. I'll stick with 'lawful' neutral.
