I'm looking to move into null sec soon (this weekend probably) and need a setup for my hurricane.
I don't know much about what i can except DPS wise from the rats, but i know its sansha space, so its "easy" as an armor tanker.
can use pretty much anything T2 as well. any suggestions are welcome.

its sansha rats, im just not sure how much DPS i can expect to need to tank from the harder spawns, 200? 400? just don't know.
im pretty sure 6 220 2's and 2 HML 2's will break their tanks though, just not sure if mine will hold up

should be able to get by with only one rep
6x 220 ac t2s with emp, 2x heavy assault launchers t2s with em missles
mwd, web, 2x cap recharger t2s
mar t2, 2x em hard, 1x therm hard, 2x gyrostab
should do ya. might be able to get by with only 1em, and get 2 therm hardeners since you start with 70% em...but i dont remember off the top of my head what percentage of sansha damage is therm compared to em, something for you to look into. or just drop a gyrostab for a fourth hardener.

What I used when I was ratting Sanshas.
6 425 autocannons
1 Medium Nos
1 Salvager
MWD
WEB
Scram
Cap recharger 2
Em hardener
Therm Hardener
Therm Hardener
MAR 2
2x Gyros
I only ran the scram so I would have it in case of emergancy. Never had a single problem with any of the rats includeing true Sansha spawns. Use Phased plasma for the fastest kills

For ratting, not PvP
6x 425mm II, 2x whatever missiles that fit that you have skills for
1x 10mn mwd, Tracking Comp II (tracking script), 2x cap recharger II
1x MAR II, 1x Em hardener II, 1x Thermal Hardener II, 3x Gyro II
Tankiing 0.0 rats is easy, keep your speed up (dont stop) and kill them fast (mor isk & less damage taken).
Not only do 425's do a bit more DPS but they use less amo, tracking comp helps with their lower tracking.
Peronaly I dont like using much amo when I rat I often rat with lasers, I'd even consider artys because of amo use. Amo use just adds to your logistics when ratting. You have to get it in then it takes cargo space so you have less room for loot, it costs you isk and so on.
3 damage mods, you will burn through them

go with a pvp setup, in 0.0 its more likely then not, you'll need it

Why autocannons? If you're doing this in relatively safe space, I'd fit this, like I fit mine.
5 x 720mm IIs (50km range)
1 x Salvager
1 x Tractor
1 x Cloak
1 x 10MN AB II
3 x Cap Recharger II
1 x Medium Armor Rep II
2 x Hardeners of choice
3 x Gyrostabilizer II
5 x Hobgoblin IIs
Does decent DPS, can permarun everything, with the right hardeners can easily tank any bs spawn staying out at 20/30km, use drones for frig rats.

for PVP in o.o hurricane the Damage Taken: 49267 from a recon ship and 2 Stealth Bomber the name is Manticore
high slot was 6x 425mm AutoCannon II
and then Prototype Cloaking Device I and Medium Rudimentary Energy Destabilizer I ts if you can that in hight slot
then medium slot is Medium Capacitor Booster II and X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator and Phased Weapon Navigation Array Generation Extron and Warp Disruptor II
then low slot is 2 of the Medium Armor Repairer II the 1 of the Armor Thermic Hardener II and Armor Explosive Hardener II and Armor Kinetic Hardener II and Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II that is how to fit a hurricane for PVP it is vary good really good if need help on it game play name is coenman ok good luck with it

I'd go with something like:
6x arty/AC
Tractor + salv
MWD
Web
Scram (if you want to have PvP ability)
Recharger(s) or injector
MAR II
DCU II
2x EANM II
2x gyrostab II
If you have a tough time tanking the rats, consider more of an EM/therm specific tank instead of the omni I have laid out.
