Gold is so regal and authoritive, it really should IMO be the color of dev'ness.

Gold was nicer. Blue is kinda...irritating to look at, in an odd sort of way. Like looking at a black-light.
Besides, gold showed you were god-like man-mountains worthy of respect. Blue makes you look like guys in overalls. Don't ask me why.

Otherwise nice but gold bars on every second thread ruins the 'oh look! a dev post! what's getting nerfed now..' reaction.
Anyway, this blue and red bar thing gave me an idea: how cool would it be if you could see your standing toward people on the forums? +/- flags on top of avatars or blue/red lines on posts.

ok, i'll just go right up and say it. using blue / red when those are your primary colours for friendies / foes is pretty dumb.
or, you can add to the FAQ "why are forum posts marked as hostiles".
like, *any* other colour pair would have been better.

I like blue. But it clashes horribly with the forum. The solution is obviously to rework the entire forum's color scheme around the blue.

I am begining to think CCP is color blind..
first they gave us glowing green activation mods that are imposible to see in bright systems, and now they give us dark blue on a grey background.. dont you have better things to change like, bugs. |

I do like blue as well. It does however hurt my eyes to read anything that's between those bars, which is a shame, because that's mostly what I skim through to read 
I see what's been said about it being in-line with the text colour in-game, and its a neat idea, I'm just not sure it'll work (for me personally) to give pain for trying to read any official response on a given matter

I am really sorry, but this blue really hurts my eyes. Can you make it less dark please? It remembers me of ANSI blue which is really horrifying with a black background (look at a putty console).

For some odd reason, like many others the blue bar is killing me eyeballs, it also seems to trigger migraines for me 
So - for the love of god - bring back the yellow.

Why not use GOLD and Silver? Plain non metallic colors always look inferior status when compared to metallic ones.
If brute force doesn't solve your problem... you are not using enough |
