So I was excited that the Drone regions received some exploration loving with the Trinity patch so I decided to give it a go. I spent a couple hours finding a radar (hack) site. The site was named "Abandoned Research Complex DM033" I call for a wingman from corp we warp in and kill all the rouge drones and sentries protecting the cans. I then try the codebreaker on all 3 cans and they all turn up empty! Anyone else have this happen?
They way I see it there are 2 possible explanations for this.
1) site is bugged
2) someone beat me to the cans and did not kill the rats and the site did not de-spawn. Is this possible?
IMO either of these scenarios is unacceptable. If someone did beat me the cans the site should de-spawn at that time so I don't waste a couple hours finding and clearing it. If it was this, it was before I found the site as there was no one present in system when I finally got a 0m result. If its a bug it needs to be fixed because to come away empty handed is BS. I could have spent that time pvping for fun, or mining/ratting/missioning for isk. Don't tell me the challenge finding it was my reward because the time it takes to find these is the necessary evil to keep exploration from being something everyone will do. And its not that hard if you know what our doing. Throw me a bone and at least put a few pieces of salvage in there. Id doesn't have to be uber loot every time, but at least put something in there.

Well, that's good to know. I've been finding Radar sites in the Drone regions, 'Da005' type, and 2 of the 3 cans are always empty. Twice out of 9 sites all the cans were completely empty.
Guess I'll put off exploration yet again this weekend and go kill some Bob instead.
