After the most recent patch, I noticed the following:
If you set "Merge Item and Ship to Station Panel", and you switch ships, then both panels will display nothing. They are still on the station panel, but the ships and items in your hanger will not show properly. I have Small station services icons turned on, but the same error occurs even if you have the regular icons. Upon switching these options in the Esc menu however, you see the display again. But only if you switch options. This error did not exist before the patch.

I've noticed the same flaw in the system, I find that unmounting the ship/item window from the side in options fixes it to a point.
Another temp fix is hit "Undock" and then quickly hit abort, that seems to bring it back. It's annoying as all hell though, but I am sure CCP is aware of it. Now at least eh?

Yep same problem. Another workaround is to hit F10 (Map) twice.
This problem also happens if you set destination while docked.

Same problem here... been using undock/abort but it quickly gets annoying

Same problems here, merging those windows make there content disappear on several occasions (as stated above).

Hi and sorry for the late reply to this thread. We are aware of this bug. A defect was created on the 18th of December and a fix will hopefully be deployed in the next patch. I would like to thank everyone for making bug reports on this, there are a lot of them and that makes me very happy. Good job! :)
Workarounds for this until it has been fixed are:
1. Open and close map by pressing F10 two times.
2. Hit "Undock" and then quickly hit abort
3. Unchecking merge ships/items, and then re-enabling it

This problem has been around for months so far, and it affects everyone who has items and ships docked several patches have been applied with no fix for it. Is there any ETA on a fix or do you need to remove the "dock" feature for Items and Ships?
