Wouldn't the assassination of the Amarr emperor basically be a grand event for Minmatar?

The reason why they don't have an event is because they are afraid of the Amarrians causing problems in the systems that are unsecured because all the slaves...err I mean all of members of the Minmatar are at their event.

There is a minmatar/amarr event going on for the last weeks...
Read the news.

As a person who doesn't pay attention to the storyline a whole lot, please, educate me. What happened with the Gallente Election storyline?
And the Minmatar event is already set...the conquering of the Ammatar Mandate and the (forced) reunification of the Matari tribes. Including the Thukkers, who hands us over Great Wildlands as a new mostly-lowsec but some empire region.

I thought the event was when you guys (UK) got tired waiting and built Unity? Obviously I was mistaken, in which case I am also still waiting for it.
