I've moved into a new house and have fallen down the stairs 3 times. Is this normal?

I often fall on our stairs, never while coming down though, always while going up.

Since moving to this city I've fallen over twice outside. I have noticed others stumbling and hope it's just the terrain is given to bad footing if you're not used to it.

Apparently IE still does not display the address of the link you are hovering over? Firefox users are almost immune to Rickrolls. uuiU is very noticeable.
OP: Have you checked your Carbon Monoxide level? How about your Ethanol level? Are you perhaps a gangly puppy? They have notorious trouble with stairs.

My old house was pretty small and had very steep wooden stairs. I lost count of how many times my socks slipped on those steps. Twice in one week I landed right on my coccyx. First time hurt a lot. The second time around, I was still pretty sore from the first and it was just excruciating.
Now you think I'd learn from that, but I fell down them again countless times, thankfully never as painfully.
I now live in a bungalow...

There are many things the Western World must stand accountable for, but two millenia of abominable stairbuilding is perhaps the most reprehensible.

i blame differences in hight from my house stairs to other places stairs...
that and not looking down at my feet to see the difference in hights

Having watched the TV show House, and now being versed in the latest in medical dhave some sort of brain abnormality, you diagnostics, I'll tell you you probably have some sort of brain abnormality. You should go seek medical attention immediately (Serious on getting checked out)

Last time I fell down the stairs was when I was about 5... it hurt 
It's suprising really since I practically jump down the stairs most the time, easily taking 5-6 steps at a time and always going 2 at a time up them. Worst I did was break a toenail.

Interesting logic. So as an extension of that, if I instead just leap from the top of the stairs to avoid the lot I'll be perfectly safe every time.
