well since the first page is being flooded by coolness my post got shoved to the back of the boards and i was hoping someone could help me with this problem!
so i was doing all fine and dandy and stuff just running around lowsec looking for stuff to blow up, then my computer lags horribly so i just shut it off (forced shut off, holding the off button on my laptop for about 5s)
so i took a nap
then i woke up
next i decided i would play some eve online so i booted up my client (with a touch button!) and typed in my password, got the following
Establishing Connection To Server > Authenticating |
and thats it, doesnt get to the bulk data stuffs, ctrlq'd a couple times restarted etc all with the same resultZ
oh and then i exited it one time it might have been the 3rd time, and i got a little thing in the bottom right of my system tray that says
 Yo. Your EXEFILE.EXE is corrupts. Run Chkdisks on me nao.
so wheres chkdisks and how come its corrupts is what i want to know

yo and bump after epic fail spam, just did a chkdsk and im running antivirus now, let see if it helps
oh and my specs
1.6ghz dual core turion
1gb ram
60gb hdd etc
256mb nvidia 6150
15.4" lcd??

Start Menu -> Run -> Type "cmd", press Enter.
In Command Prompt, type (no quotes) "chkdsk c: /f /v /r"
Press Enter.
Follow instructions to check your harddrives. Replace c: with the letter of your first harddrive. Do this for all harddrives that your own (each time replacing c: with letter of the harddrive that your need to check).
That's how you run ChkDisk.
Changes are your harddrives are damaged, and exefile.exe is lost. After chkdsk runs, reinstall Eve.
