When we're sitting on the Oij gate in BWF, it gives you all the time you need to setup this even head to head good fight with a matching fleet - why not just do it there instead?

Actually if you read the kill mail correctly there were only 3 types of Mods in the lows (split into four lines because of what was dropped vs. what was destroyed):

4x CPR II
2x Cap Armor Rep
1x Corpum A-Type EANM

So we do know what was fit (and it seems crazy to me but to each his own) and MoP was correct in saying that he only had 1 hardener fitted.

Well kinda hard to sit in fountain durring slow time when RK is fighting at home with a skeleton crew asking for people to x up just after the Smash Mom was popped. Jumpclones made for quick travel. Don't worry. I already flew back after I got a few kills. Don't matter where I am I'll always supoort when I am able.
Not to mention it was a good excuse to get another backup ship flown out

If by "we" you actually mean "we and 9 other alliances", then yeah. It's rather hard to lose 90 bs to a pos when your capital fleet alone outnumbers the hostile defense fleet.

Puff is right, we'd been stalking this fellow for some time now and only missed it yesterday due to a pilot error.

His corp tends to be fairly effective pirates that play with a lot of very expensive gear (darn Rattlesnake got away from me not long ago for example). They tend to fight a lot more intelligently than certain posters smacking them.

Great to see it go down according to plan. I only hate that it happened while I was driving home though :(

I can confirm that this was NOT paid for by the pilot and indeed was paid for by all of the corp.

It was all the CEO and said pilot seemed to care about - my alt was in the corp during the whole Nyx building frenzy. I'm glad I'm not anymore.

Has there been many motherships lost in actual large scale fleet ops cos from what ive seen most MS get popped because pilots try to solo in 0.0 or jump to a safe uncloaked and get probed or just reciently get ganged in low sec.

So basicaly pilot error or stupidity seems to kill most of the ms that the game has lost.

yust dont understand why somone in sk would bother with a hostile gatecamp so close to empire, some wil fight offcourse to see if its funn but its not so they usely dont do it for long

ya guys did good sofar, stil doesnt hurt the alliance much proberly did alot good stuff forus by killing noobs that dont use scouts or use intel

My dear old friend Graalum I dont think anything of what you just said invalidates my statement. If you guys really insist on doing the whole "those rk guys didn't count they suck and aren't representative of our alliance" you're only gonna be hurting yourselves. Heck we dropped John Blackthorn's carrier, last i knew he was your CEO (and has lead your corp for god knows how long), are you saying he's one of the "not real pvp'ers" ?

We've seen some of the same things and fought some of the same conflicts, I wager if the shoe was on the other foot you'd be saying what I am instead of making a poor attempt at misreading it to suit your own forum warrior needs.

I wasn't saying John was a bad pvp'er. Heck he was one of the first FC's I flew under when I started Eve. But you can't have your cake and eat it too with the whole "you havent fought the real pvp'ers" argument, and it is negative to be bagging on your on guys with that argument.

You seem to be good at making up numbers. The biggest gang i was in against you had 35 people in it, and 10 bs. I would care less about the omg we are pwning smashkill threads if you didn't pull numbers out of the air all the time. It's hilarious how awesome yu guys think you are, and the ridiculous e-peen bravado horse**** you can muster. I'm glad your having fun, but to think that you are causing some sort of failure cascade in smashkill is really pretty naive. We've seen much larger and more talented groups come through here, when I say that i'm not impressed, I mean it.

I've been in two gangs to fight you, and both times you've had more people in system than we had in gang, or even numbers at best.
