Why doesn't CCP just shut the server for 24 hours or so so no one has to work on the 25th?
I'm sure only a handful of people (not sad gits at all I hasten to add) would complain, and everyone would get to spend more time with their loved ones.
Come on CCP, you know you want to do it

If it takes the server being down for you to spend your time with loved ones something's wrong.
And I'm sure someone gets plenty overtime money for working xmas day so wouldn't worry too much about them.
I was purely thinking of people who have to work xmas day regardless of the finacial reward they get. I could have worked over xmas for a nice amount of cash but I prefer the time off. Some people don't get a say in if they work or not as they may be contracted to do so (yes I know they signed a contract to that effect by choice).

Everyone in your world celebrates Christmas, therefore everyone in the entire world must?
Didn't see many calls to close the servers for Eid.
Well they sort of coincide so why not?

Well I apologise for thinking of the people who run the server in the UK where the 25th is a public bank holiday not being able to take that day off. Oh and I am an atheist who just likes time off work.
