Yes, forum lingo. Let me add a few phrases:
"this." - When quoting a previous reply means "I agree, but don't have any imagination".
nerfbat - Means "I dont understand the concept of 'nerfing' somthing. So instead I pretend to understand and combine the catch word with a noun. For example: 'OMFG CCP like beat the myrmidon with the nerfbat o' pwn!'", which doesn't make any sense. As most of us know, anything made by "nerf" or that is said to have been "nerfed" would be incapable of rendering harm.
"you've won this thread." - Recognizing another person's post as the most creative troll in a forum thread so far.
troll - A person who attemps to derail, or provide no real benefit to a thread. Can also refer to a particular post, or the act of posting like a troll.
"Thats a Templar, the amarr fighter. Its a combat drone used by carriers." - Originally started in a "what is this ship" thread with a picture. Several people responded with a nearly identical response. This prompted pages and pages of trolls, using the same reply.
disgruntled - displeased and discontented; sulky; peevish.

Hey, when someone quotes another's post, and adds absolutely nothing, should that be interpreted as an implied "/qft," "this" or "/thread"? Or something else entirely?

Its either a mistake where they meant to write something, or as you say an implied QTF/signed/this.
