Okay, apparently this charecter changed hands a while back. This was before my time as a forum ***** myself, so I would like to know the story about this. Was this toon sold on ebay? If so, why has such a prominent ebayed charecter still here, and if not - why do people keep saying it? From a neutral standpoint I see a charecter that has been apparently new to parts of the game, but was it just sold on the sell orders for isk? I haven't a clue here, help

I think she's just trolling. I mean, it's almost too obvious.

just do a search on eve-search.com for jenny's posts from a few years ago. you will see the difference.
and then you will be crushed, and hear the lamentations of [forum'ers] as they are driven from their nostalgic reverie...

Edited by: Kirjava on 21/12/2007 19:58:16 As far as I am concerned, toons are not real and products of the imagination not intended to be a representation of a real person. ie Kirjava is my toon, he dosen't exist.
Interesting, while discussing a professional Trolls past two forums *****s have gone head to head over the definition of toon

Fair enough, we should probably leave sleeping dogs lie, I call my charecters toons and you hate the term with a vengeance, nothing either one of us says is going to convince the other.

Your character is not an animated representation. It is a still picture.
However, another definition of cartoon: a sketch or drawing, ..., symbolizing, ... some ... person of ... interest
So you're both right.
But right. Sleeping dogs. They're lying. Got it.

While I agree this is not WoW, I dont really think WoW has any relevance to the debate about "toon" useage. I only bring this up because I can remeber myself and many others using the word "toon" to describe our ingame characters pre-everquest.
It annoys me that people always seem to equate the word "toon" to WoW, when its been in used to describe in game avatars longer than the Warcraft Franchise has(circa 1994).
Wait till ambulation hits, and then those masses of new players that CCP marketing hopes to attract will be using "toon" to no end.

To the op sorry to have slightly derailed your post with my above post, but the question has been asked of Jenny many times in the past through her multiple transformations, with never an answer given. --

Agreed. WOW is popular enough to spawn and copyright words into the English language where as EVE sucks in comparison and can't do that.

There was an original Jenny, long time ago. I remember her asking for help in local with some hauling mission. Then she became famous after supposedly receiving a nice gift (from that old lottery). Just to think how one nice gift can change the fortunes of the player. She became a high ranking figure in a very respected alliance. Then the char supposedly changed hands and the newer Jenny was like a pink carebear without a clue. Now we have the "n00b" Jenny. Who knows, may be the original Jenny never sold the account and is just fooling us all
