Starting by couple of days ago, my Firefox is entering in "Not responding" state in 50% of Eve online site loads. It seems that flash header is causing it, because everything other works OK. Flash on other sites is working OK as well. Even IE7 is showing slowing down. Does anybody else have same issue? I've also noticed that heavy game lag may render my some of drones abandoned, after return to drone bay command.

Im really glad that I found this post. I thought I had a bug with my computer as whenever I come onto the eve website with firefox it would frees up and I would have to close firefox down, but as others have the same issue it must be a problem on the site.
The way I get around this issue is to click the big red x just as the site starts to load up to prevent the site from fully loading thus buggering up. I now have a bookmark to a forum post which lets me get onto the site without going onto the main page, and no issues so far.

Not really an great solution as in solveing the cause but you could try useing the plugin for firefox called flashblock.
This way any flash movie is not immediately loaded but shows an arrow key which you can click in case if you want to see flash. That way less bandwidth is consumed so it also helps those people with data limits on their connection. It also makes your web experience alot faster because your not always bogged down anymore with heavy flash movies which incase of really graphic heavy ones could slow your computer down to almost crawling forward.
Extra added benefit is incase flash movies include (loud) sounds you will not be confronted with those either because they will only load when you want it. *This is one of my main reasons why i got that plugin because not all sounds put on pages are that pleasent or even wanted (incase of adds, they never learn)
