I've read that when you complete your tutorial agent's missions, you get the 1.0 boost. So far I've done 10 missions for one (says no more missions availible), 2 for another tut agent, and another 10 with the event agent that gives you ships.
So what else is left? Did I just waste 2 days? I don't need any training for this char or the money, so how do I get the standing increase?

You get a 10.0 standing with that first agent and a little boost (like 0.2) with the agent's faction. When I look up your info you already got those. If you want to run level 2 missions just train connections III, but I'd suggest using your map to find more level 1 agents and practicing running their missions.

The 1.0 faction standing increase for completing the tutorial missions has been removed I believe. Whatever you read to give you that information is out of date.

Well all I can find is from 2004 because CCP is using such poor forum search software.
I really don't need to 'learn' lvl1's, as I've been doing lvl4's on my other char for quite some time. 90% of my time on lvl1's is warping arround. Not fun. 
edit - it always picks the wrong char

That's a bummer. When I started, it was a 1.0 for the starter agent, then another 1.0 for the tutorial. It was pretty handy having 2.0 after a day, even if there weren't L4 agents, and only a handful of missions.
