hi all im running missions for caldari navy and i was wondering, does an agent type : SECURITY, COMMAND, INTEL... have an effect on LP handouts? or is it strictly based on the QUALITY of an agent.. im running a LVL 4 agent Q 17 (after skills) POLITICAL/ MILITARY CONNECTIONS LVL 3 and im averaging only 1300 LP per mission,
my corp tells me he gets like 3k per mission of LP, and he has no skills pertaining to LP or QUALITY increase..
any ideas here?

The sec. level of the system the agent is placed in also counts (and, maybe, also the sec. level of the system the mission you are doing happens in).
In 0.0 you get around 4-5 times the reward in terms of isk and LP compared to what you get in high sec.

Agent division determines what type of mission is handed out and that affects how many LPs you get per mission.
For the same mission, the level of the agent and the Effective Quality of the agent (quality after skills) determines the payout. Connections and Negociation will increase the EQ of an agent.
As the above poster said, the sec status of the system the agent is in will also affect the rewards.
Also, there's no need need to capitalise key nouns in sentences. We can understand you just fine without the emphasis.

As far as I know the standing increase and rewards are determined by: 1. mission itself, all agents take missions from this one overall pool and each missions has an assigned reward/standing increase depending on its difficulty 2. your skills 3. your standings with the agent 4. location of the agent (security status of his or her resident system) 5. quality and level of the agent
The department determines the proportion of kill/courier (and now also mining) missions that you'll get assigned but not the rewards associated with each mission.
