I just got my self a funky 22" DVI Monitor that I am running with my old monitor.
Have a couple of issuies that someone here may be able to help with
I have a 2600hd AGP card and am running one DVI and 1 on the dsub output
With 2 monitors I seem to need to run in full screen mode as i get like 5fps If i try to run in windowed, whereby I get 80-100 if I run in full screen.
When I run eve in full screen on my main DVI monitor, if I press anything on the d-sub monitor eve minimises on the the DVI
Am I doing something really basic wrong, or is it supposed to work like that? -----------------------------------------------

Have you set it to DUAL VIEW in your Control Panel (Classic View) > Display Settings and identified monitors correctly?
I found that if you have a windowed version playing and the window overlaps onto 2 monitors, you get FPS issues. So do make sure none of the border is overlapping.
You will get minimisation if you are running full screen and click on the non active monitor. Something to do with trying to use what is 'under' the full screen client if your desktop is stretched across the two monitors.

Try EVE launcher to run 2 windowed mode client on the two screens without overlapping the client window between the screens (which could kill the FPS).
Full screen mode simply doesnt suit for dual client running - since you cant see both clients at the same time.

Also check to see which graphics card your clients is running on even thou you only have 1 card, if you run 2 monitors you can have 2 cards (the same)showing in your client settings, 1 for main monitor the other for 2nd(running either client on the wrong card slows down FPS) so if you drag your client to 2nd screen select that card in your client)(it will sometimes jump to your main screen when you do this but then drag it back and fps goes up) also dont let screen overlap into other monitor
