 I was getting almost 200 RPs a day, now I'm only getting 33 RPs, I have a level III in fast talk and negotiations...
I have put in a request for a clarification from the GMs but have yet to hear back, Has this happened to anybody else lately ?

I would like to know why this happened. Another interesting thing, why did agents time with there corp change yesterday? I had over 4 agents that I checked that had been with there corp for months go to 1 day.

Perhaps a agent error ? lol? what does it matter?

Dunno. That's just fluke data. Probably should remove it from the info window for NPCs...

33 RP/day is the right number for your agent + skills as far as I can tell, and your RP total + start time doesn't look like you've actually had 200 RP's per day, so I really can't say.

Thanks for the reply papa. What is normal for RP a day? I know for a fact one of my char's is getting 152 rp a day. I'm pretty sure Rich has a level 2 agent. My agent is a level 3. I'm sure this has been posted before but what does go into how much rp you get? I've read all kinds of things on the forum. But with every forum post there is someone who agrees with you and someone who thinks you should never have asked a dumb question like that. From what I have gathered you should have Social 5 which I do Connections 4 and Negotiation 4. But I'm never sure how the faction standing comes into play on RP. Like how many more points I get for having a 9.0 rating. But then it seems having to many RP points hurts you anyway. Please don't flame me to much.

I was getting 183 RPs per day, and I was also getting two missions per 24 hr period, the only thing that has changed is a lowering of My security status by 0.5 for using a torp, and causing splash dammage to another player ( 3 weeks ago before the patch change) I had a increase after training some of My social skills, but that has now been erased somehow.
what gives

The formula (which has been posted on a lot of the r&d threads is):
base RP/day = (1+(Rating/100))*((MySkill+HisSkill)^2)
This is doubled if its a weapons field, or tripled if it is a specific starship field.
The only skills directly relevant are negotiations (which increases the Rating) and your research field's skill.

If you still feel there is problem with your RP/day given the formula, post specific information:
The research field
Your skill level in the research field's skill
Your negotitations level
Agent's skill level in the research field's skill
Agent's base quality
Agent's effective quality
Agent's name
Your total RP
Number of days researching
However, I think you will find the Papa is correct in this one.

just so I don't screw up the calculations..here is the info
research field is Rocket science.
I have level III, skill
My agent has Rocket science level II, and a quaility of 16.
Edent Ystre is a level II agent, he has an effective quaility of 32.
My total RP is 5,409.53
and I have been doing missions for 85 days, starting on Dec, 25th.
My social skill level is IV, and negoitations is a III.
and I'm doing missions for Roden Shipyards, out in Alenia

It looks ok to me.
You appear to have got ~64 RP/day so far which is consistent with your skill levels considering that you do missions.
By my calculations 33RP/day is the correct base rate.
As afterburners have been given out in rocket science, I don't think it has any multiplier (not weapon or starship only).
With rocket science at level 2, you would have been earning ~ 18.5-21.2 RP/day depending on your social skills which may possobly have been the source of the confusion.

Thanks for the help Nilradical, I really can't explain how I was getting more RPs then, but I saw them on the agent profile as My corps mates and I compared them...
