CCP has change to greedy company.

I know some will say that "that is the way they can get bigger" - But I just wanted to state that I liked old CCP better, when we weren't just dollar sign in theyr eyes, CCP dont care any more, they have so many (in icelandic term atleast) subscribers that they dont give a if they screw some ppl over because there will be others. Just wanted to say this, been **ing me off for long time.

CCP still has the same dollar value assigned to our subscription. Besides, as fun as the snowball launchers were they did cause more problems in the long run and I think the devs dont really want to walk down that road. oh, and a snowy client, come one! Firms will go only as far into into satisfying customers as it will increase their market share or prevent losing it. Caring and firms do not go along, using the two words in the same sentence makes it an oxymoron. It's not evil nor it is good, it's simple business.

Your facts are simply wrong. On the other hand, a company wanting to make money is not a bad thing. Business is business. I would love getting some nifty ingame item for the christmas holiday, but to write a whine about it?? That is taking things a little too far. Only small spoiled kids do that! When it comes to being a rich greedy company... I remember a company where the leadership and their employees where working for months for free! Because they had too little income! I dont know that much about companies around the world, but I think I know that a company that dont generate income and profit to pay their employees wont survive. Not neccesary because the product is not good, but simply because people need money to feed their family and paying for their houses. I pay 133 dollar for one year. I think I can manage that very very easily..... not only that, but I also find that CCP have hearned those money down to the single penny! No they thought:'That is a great idea and something we really want to do and maybe if we are lucky we can make a living out of it.' Also, you tend to forget that there are other people in this world other than christians and not everyone jumps around crying for presents this time of year. I don't see jewish people or muslims on these forums whine about presents when they got a big holliday.

Also, the devs have fanfest, do dev chats, post dev blogs, have a laugh with the community on the forums, apologise for their screw ups and inform people of the situation, take constructive criticism. I really haven't seen many other game companies that get that involved tbh. Be greatful for what you have, not what you haven't

Musta been pulled out of thin air, cause we all know how greedy they are and would never pay 1000's of man hours to create, test and install such things. Heh, I wholeheartedly agree with most of what you are saying, I don't give a crap about the odd bit of server down-time or christmas gifts, but the following things cause me some mild irritation. a) 23/7 macro ratters/haulers not being banned (after petitioning for months) b) log off timers that give people an opt-out option no matter what space they are in c) nerfs that dumb the game down more (dictors, scanning & probing) d) features that make the game more "mainstream" (graphics, more t2 frigs when old ones are broken) e) refusing to nerf "mainstream" things like nanos f) bugs that QA missed because upstairs is pushing for a certain date (boot.ini, scanning window bug, ships/items window disappearing, starbases ffs)

Now people start asking and create an large ammount of topics crying foul that there are no gifts ... err is it still a gift if ccp is forced into giveing it to people? People get more greedy, unpatient and downright insulting every year. Just an example but this is what i see every time again year after year: - It first starts before the hollidays with to much commercial junk the commercials screaming give this, give that you must do this and that, buy me buy me, hollidays like christmas lost their charm because of the big commercial influence over it. - Then come the last minutes, you know dureing the hollidays when everything and everyone goes "out of reach" you have to stock up specially when hollidays are mid weeks and alot of places close the doors for a prolonged period (think 1-2 weeks) and you have to plan arround these days as the days itself even though your free from duties are kinda useless as you wont be doing the things your not haveing enough time for on other days and would like to do now. - Now come the forced visits, you know people expect you to be an host and enjoy them still no time to relax at all. Even worse is when these people even expect some kind of festivities (SP) and expect pressents that alone makes an part inside me die just because they are asking for (or forceing in specific cases) those things. - You gone trough all kinds of trouble pleasing alot of people. Friends, relatives and strangers unknown to you and you hope they where gratefull well guess again they come right back at you after the partying complaining. About what they complain? Well there is always something that doesnt meet everyone's wishes but it seems to get worse every year. - Time to start again at a new year, they the people who you did so much for expect more and expect you to be up and running right from the start not giveing any room to breath or get things in order. I know that when people start asking for gifts that i choose to give or not depending on various things (like my financials and how people treated me) i would think twice next year. If the people that make decisions at ccp are like me im sure that there would be no pressents this year just for the ammount of chaf (SP) thrown at them. Usually this results in the generic public also being and feeling punished for the behaviour of a few people. Just for that sake im hopeing ccp lets those ungratefull ones feel it real hard by giveing everyone something except those ones (but then i know there would be even more crying about ccp deliberately discriminateing certain people) This probably has no use anyway as its very hard to change how people are but this is how i feel about it, if you do not like what i said here then please skip over it.
