Post Trinity the decloaking effect looked spectacular.
Then it got changed for some unfathomable reason and now when uncloaking the horrifying secret that all our ships are made of cardboard is revealed.
Is there any reason it was changed a second time, beyond dev preference?
Am I the only one who finds the new effect so vile they feel the need to zoom out before decloaking? 
Can we has moar strobing less throbbing version back, surely it wasn't a seizure hazard.

Your the only one.
Only problem with the effect is that decloaking is done the wrong way front should be first to uncloak then back.

If you mean the oooold effect from before trinity, no, of course not.
I'm referring to the effect we had when trinity was released before the patch changed it. The former swept across the ship nicely, the latter is lead by an area of gray/beige texture that (imo) looks awful.
It's a minor problem but I was wondering why it was changed, why so soon, and why so... cardboard.

Gates use a LIFO buffer (Last In First Out). Cloaking happens front to rear so decloaking happens rear to front.
WTF are you doing looking at your own ship when exiting a gate anyway? Have you no sense of danger?
