You were not dismissed for PvPing. You were dismissed mainly for this:

You stated (paraphrased) "I only follow orders when I choose to join other IVY members in PvP. I will not follow orders if not in a PvP gang". E-UNI is teamwork, and relies on members following rules outside of PvP, also. You chose to undock on your own and suicide your ship, you were reminded that it is against the rules to undock during a lockdown if not part of a PvP gang, you could have chosen to say "ok, I now understand why that rule is there, I will do better next time and coordinate my attack with others", instead you chose to say "I was correct in what I did, I would do it again." At that point Kelduum did not have much of a choice but to boot you. Rules are always open for discussion, but do so beforehand, dont choose to break the rule and then say afterwards "Uhm, yeah, but the rule is stupid". There is also no reason to complain about the lack of FCs, because it is explicitely allowed for _any_ IVY member to declare himself an FC and form a gang to fight hostiles at any point in time. All that is expected is a formal evemail to our admiral stating "I formed a PvP gang to do X", and an after-action-report stating how the op went / what was good / what was bad / what was learned from it, so other members dont make the same mistakes (that might have happened). Nobody will be reprimanded for losing PvP fleets while FCing, but people will be reprimanded for stupid solo losses that would not have happened if people had followed the rules.
While the policy makes sense to hole up until help arrives, how would Kumiko undocking and getting blown up be any different in this instance than if s/he were part of a gang and undocked to PVP yet STILL got blown up by awaiting enemies?
The loss/result is exactly the same, the only difference would be that they were in a gang when it happened. I believe you've taken to the "letter of the law" and not the spirit of it. I've read your policies and while there are reasons for certain policies I think in this case Kumiko ****ed someone off and the "letter of the law" was used to remove them.
