Ok, I went through the first parts of the tutorial up to the point after you deliver the code book. Then the agent says something about putting a location in you People & places but nothings there (I checked all the section that were there and nothing other then a list of agents I visited). Then I kept getting msgs from the tutorial saying you must warp to the Deadspace complex before continuing. I asked in chat and people said to right click on open space but that does nothing other then give a list of space stations, planets, stargates, and asteroids, nothing about deadspace. There's also nothing under the overview section.
Any help would be great.

The Dead space they are referring to when you right click on open space would be listed under Encounter.
Often there are two listings at the bottom of the list - one is for where to go when you return from the mission but the Encounter listing is for the Dead space area.
And yes - you can get there by opening your journal and right clicking on the mission then selecting Read More to bring up the Mission Description page - which has orange colored links on it to both the Encounter area where the mission takes place - and the return area.
If you are on a courier mission, when you get to the drop off point - the agent who gave you the mission will be listed under agents for that base as a "Agent of Interest". You can start a conversation with them right there - and tell them you have completed the mission.
It actually kind of sounds like you've got more than one tutorial running at the same time. ???
There are two reasons you won't have a new agent in your people and places after you get that message that a new agent has been put there.
1) You have already been to see that agent - so the agent they put there is one you've already seen. This will happen if you have already been to first the Tutorial Agent - who gave you the Event Agent to go to - and THEN went to another Tutorial Agent - who ALSO gave you the same agent to go to.
2) You have done the two missions from the Tutorial Agent for another school other than the one you graduated from. They will say that they are putting the name of their Event Agent in your address book - but they don't. Since you are associated with a different school - the name of the Event Agent for THAT school is the only one that will be put there.
Tutorial and Event Agents are NOT listed under a Schools Agents Tab if you do a show info on the School. But - they will be in .9 or 1.0 space in stations owned by that school. Typically, they are in single base systems. The Event Agent is usually teamed with a Tutorial Agent in a dead end .9 system.
Tutorial Agents give out Two Mission Sessions called "The Endless Battle". Mission 1 you go kill a pirate and recover a code book. Mission two is a courier mission to deliver some encryption codes to a nearby base. These missions are all the same for every Tutorial Agent for Every School from Every Faction.
Event Agents give out 10 mission Sessions. These 10 missions are oriented toward one of three professions; Military; Business; Industry. But they are the same 10 missions for each Factional School for that profession. I.E. the Caldari Industry School gives out the same 10 missions as the Amarrian Industry School.
If you raise your standings enough by doing their Tutorial Agent Missions - you can take the 10 missions from any and every Event Agent in the game ... if you want to go to all that trouble. But - whereas Aura who guided your initial Tutorial and sent you to your first agents and the fact that you are already a graduate of one particular School - will give you standing with that school - if you want another schools Event Agent Missions - you'll have to raise you standing with them first - by doing several of their Tutorial Agent Mission sets.
Hope that all made sense ...
