that might have to do with the gfx card being unable to render both client's textures.
how much ram does your card have? ---

more info, please. does it happen when you run only one client, too?
what do the other games look like?
and: if eve glitches, does it remain stable or will it crash?
but tbh id leave it as it is. eve never looked better.

Then I suppose grimpak could be right... the 8600GT isn't the beefiest card out there I mean, ------

lolol.
I'm always running two accounts. Game sometimes freezes for a few secs then unfreezes. Or freezes and stays frozen.

lol ok i'll give it a bash.

now I just need to know the settings of how you run EVE (shadows and bloom levels, resolution, etc)
it might be that, by using windowed mode and 2 clients, you're running out of texture memory (gfx card ram mem), and thus it tries to compensate with something else. something like the "white stuff" syndrome that happens when running 2 clients in fullscreen mode with good resolution and other gfx stuff activated.
edit: and only way I can think of using sys mem is using turbocache.
but that will affect your system performance. ---

8800 anything should be able to run EVE just fine. Go to the nVidia site and download the latest drivers for your card, that should sort out this problem. :) -----

OK. 1 account is running premium with HDR off and Shadows on normal. I've turned off AA and Bloom (on nVidia settings).
My alt is just running classic. Both caches are off.
Playing on 2 screens, (2 windowed clients)

well, it might be that running both clients in very diferent settings might be corrupting the stuff in the texture memory.
try to run one client and see what happens. ---

Not sure if it helps, you could always try downgrading your video drivers to one or two releases before the latest. --------- Technica impendi Caldari generis. Pax Caldaria!

I think your texture cache is not working properly.
That, or your texture files on disk are corrupted somehow.

it could even be a corruption between two different clients can it? i mean.. the ways of the software are rather strange sometimes...
heres what i would do:
run a test for a few hours with classic and premium client. only one client at a time.
if it runs well, id run two clients. but the same. 2 classic OR two premium, maybe both on the same settings.
then id report my findings.
oh, and to eliminate corrupted files on the harddisk, you can simply reinstall eve/defrag the drive. while it IS a possibility, id bet the files on the HD are fine.

Edited by: Aram Gishno on 28/12/2007 15:29:55 It looks like your running windowblinds...try turning it off (before running eve). I've seen it happen with other games.

There's another possible explanation, bit more grim. I had this behaviour a few years back on another machine, after some testing evidently my video card was broked.
Tech changed a lot since then, so am hoping for ya its something else. Try some benchmarks and other games to rule it out.

obvious question: are you having faults in any other games too?
if so, then your GFx card is likely borked.
