i installed eve then it wont auto update so i download the current patch and patch the game. then eve works normally. and i can log back on and off without any problems. when i dont log on for more than 6 hours while im sleeping. during that time my family uses the comp and it still messes up if they dont use it. when i try to run eve again by clicking on the icon befor eit loads i get an error saying a minor issue has occured and points to the log folder and keeps on doing this until i reinstall and update eve again which takes 1/2 an hour wasting my valuable playing time, deleting the stuff in the cache folder doesnt work either.

I have not experienced this but if we manage to se what your systems have in common it can most certainly be solved.

Ofcourse be sure to have the latest graphics drivers (44.03), sound drivers & latest drivers for your motherboard.
Run the logserver program (look at the sticky thread) and report the bugs you got.
as a last resort i would : 1: Reinstall latest servicepack 2: Reinstall Operating system
I know its a lot of things to do but hey , shared computers with the family tends to have LOTS of junk-programs installed that can seriously tamper with your abilities to play many games and a clean install might be the only option to fix that.

M8, I've already tried everything you said there, Its not a Family computer, and unless u consider **** junk o.O. Anyways Its a bug with the game and numerous players have the same problem.

Well , as you have reported the bug with logs from logserver and dxdiag , should make CCP happy to fix the bug then.

Maybe it's punishment for your corporation exploiting bugs in the game :-) |

Just don't try [email protected] After telling you tzo close down background programs and install some drivers their wisdom is at an end. I had to find out myself that there is a logserver. They don't want me to send em the logfile even. I did anyways in an email including my frustration because i am PAYING FOR SUPPORT. That's what MMORPGS are all about. They get devoloped and you get support. Trying to submit logfile in bug report sdection ends in a site-timeout exception for me.
Help yourself or leave it. They can't or don't want to help you.
