Traditionally, alliances put up big impressive banners with their announcements, but BRUCE has never been about big publicity waves, and so here you go:
The Brutally Clever Empire is hereby laying claim to the following Fountain constellations:
Unicorn
Chimera
Sphinx
Pegasus
Wyvern
Centaur
Taurus
Manticore
We are not in any way demeaning any previous holders of space in this area, and we are not claiming any type of overwhelming power. We have nothing but respect for the previous owners of these constellations, and we fully acknowledge that BRUCE's acquisition of these territories was part of a group effort.
This is simply a notification that BRUCE will be operating NBSI in these areas, and cleaning out all POS's belonging to non-blue parties within the next three weeks. It is strongly reccomended that if you are an independent party who does not wish to lose your assets, you vacate them immediately. BRUCE will be establishing sov in all systems in these areas, and vigorously patrolling same. It is safe to assume that unless you are already operating with us in Fountain, you are not considered welcome there in our spaces. Outside of our spaces, we continue to operate on our standard anti-pirate, NRDS policies. Should you need to reach us on this matter, please contact 12oz Jesus or Zaphod Bee.
Our alliance has grown from a small low-sec anti-pirate organization, to the dominant power of Syndicate, and now we move on to begin anew in a grander arena - Fountain. We are excited and look forward to the opportunities this area presents us.

I remember when BRUCE first came to Syndicate. They were at first badly outgunned, outnumbered, and short on friends (with the exception of COE, <3 you guys). Despite all that I saw them adapt, grow, and thrive despite the wild west that is syndicate. Watching all of this I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. Congrats!!

It's been a long patient, exciting and at times self-mutilatingly boring (Ice mining, anyone) journey, and I count myself very fortunate to have been along for the entire journey start to present. From our very humble beginnings in aeschee, that pirate infested sewer-hole that we remade like fresh tile-work, until now, I'd like to thank Fried, Zaphod, Trayk, FB, Aiden and Leaky and all the rest who have stuck it out through thick and thin, ooh we cannot forget Pyth, for w/o the almighty Pyth our budding alliance wouldeth crumble under its own weight. Thank you Pyth!
Thank you BRUCE each and every member for standing long hours watching POS's and GATEs and escorting Freighters and for the teamwork. You guys and gals are what bring BRUCE its inner strength, thank you all for your leisure time spent amoung us.

sindicate was alot of fun, we fought some good enemies, respect to those, hope we fiht again some day
i was kinda woried at first couse you know what happened to most alliances who went the sindicate way, they kinda staied there and passed away
but together, with alot of team work, all of bruce stuck together and succeded.
there is till alot to do, so we should see some interesting times ahead.
i wish alot of fun to all of us, and they way things look at the moment, thats preaty much garantied.

I know quite a few people in BRUCE from another game (Planetarion ) and if all BRUCE'ers are as great as they are, then BRUCE is a great alliance for sure

Just as a point of clarity - our RoE has not changed at all. In space we do not control, we don't believe in "shoot first, ask questions later." We've made more than one or two friends by talking before firing in non-BRUCE space. In space we consider ours, we operate NBSI and work aggressively to prevent unwanted visitors. So we haven't really switched to NBSI at all - we've just changed the area we consider our own and therefore are NBSI in.
