Several attacks on CONCORD - most notible in 10 frigates - target jamming untill we couldn't target jam no more. And then there was the attack of the uber CONCORD battleships against the m0o fleet in passari where yours truely decided he could take on 5 CONCORD battleships with one stabber (drunkof course) - think that lasted all of 10 seconds :-)

I remember that so well... I was one of the unlucky sods who got belted towards gate at 3420843834m/s think i was about 98k from the gang when i finally come to a stop.... Good job there wernt the enemy fleet behind the gate or i would of been buying a new ship..... Still a classic moment though, plenty of laughing and swearing on ts at the time too

Nah... That gangwarp thing was aweful.
Nowadays, attackers have the advantage in fleet combat.
But back then... OUCH.
1. You had horrible lag loading drones and the defending ships.
2. You risked to be knocked away and completely out of position.
Resulting in a situation where 10 players camped a gate at range and 20 warped in... it could happen that 3 of the 20 attacking ships were pushed into scramble range of the 10 defending, while the other 17 were to far away to deal any big damage. So the 10 vs 20 fight could easily end in the defenders favor.
Really an example on how much the game has improved, something you don't really notice unless you really look back on how it was some time ago.

LOL, but the gang warp drew you all in together to drop you out of warp on the same spot...
What you are looking at there is a pre-castor gang warp in that MAJOR battle in HLW where over 120 players were involved in...for over 4 hours. Ignoring the horrendous lag, modules turning offline, not receiving/dealing any damage 0.3fps etc... was a truly amazing experience
