hello,
i just installed the premium client since it was available from the client options
i don't know if it is the premium client producing the hangs ingame i didn't used the classic client long.
basicly the game hangs for appox. 3 secs which basicly sucks in fight :) it also happens in stations sometimes or on the market
system specs:
CPU: Intel Pentium D 820
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 (256 MB) (w/ newest drivers)
RAM: 2 GB DDR
Connection: DSL 6000
OS: Windows XP Home

bumpage.
i did set the cache size to low, this doesn't help, i fiddled around with the graphic settings but there doesn't seem to be something wrong with it.
i have no background processes running with the exception of my virus scanner and evemon (yeah i already tried to disable that, no change after that)
any ideas? im running out of them :(

I think I'm having the same issue (just made a thread on it), though so far I've only noticed it when doing market related things. For me though things worked fine with the premium content installed, and the hangs didn't show up until I had already been playing for a few weeks.
Hopefully we'll hear about a solution eventually. =(

i just reverted to the classic client to test that, still having the same issue :(

Managed to fix my issue by clearing the cache (see my thread). Have you tried that yet?

i guess i solved it.. well not solved, just found a way that i don't need to restart the client that often: i parted the rookie help channel.
im still waiting for a definitive solution, though :/
