I have also noticed that the spash screen is missing. It goes directly to the EULA.
I auto-patched from 1403...is this a problem?

I dont miss the spalsh screen at all..
but does not bother me if they bring it back...

A lot of people asked for a removal, because you could not do anything while it was loading... It always stayed on top; which was very annoying.
And now people ask for it to return ?? ==> No please, it's fine the way it is now, i.m.o.
In other words: There is nothing wrong with your patch / client: It is supposed to be removed. |

I agree, not that I disliked the splash, just that it was considered a "Foreground" object, ie, whilst loading it was in the way! heh so I'm fine with as is...and yeah I use 98se, and that direct x thing is annoying as could be, suggestion...checkbox [x] don't show again.
