A sent-mail folder, the freedom to write much longer messages, CC and BCC and reply:all
Spammers would probably kill CC and BCC dead though.

also an out of game clinet for just mail would be great :)
or let us redirect mail in-game to our gmail

Exactly what I have been thinking about! a tree system much like outlook express or something, since often you need to keep track of mails in a certain matter which isn't possible with today's mail system.

Only for paid customers not trial accounts--but yes a webmail function through the Eve homepage would be a great thing. Keep in touch with everyone if you can't get in-game.

All excellent ideas....we desperately need a sent items. As it stands whenever I send out anything important I have to send it to myself along with everyone else and at the top of the evemail I do something like:
To: (whoever)
CC: Jonas Vinthyn, (other people that need to know)
just so I know who I sen things to. Of course this just adds a whole bunch of extra evemail thats coming form me. We only really need a general "Sent" folder that would hold our personal sent stuff...It would be nice to have for all mailing lists but really need just personal.

Some ideas:
* Have a Sent Mail folder which we can clear out ourselves, or set settings to be automatically cleared, but let us keep anything we want to. You've got huge RAMSAN drives anyway.
* Allow us to create new mail folders, so we can sort things between. Some people use EVE-Mail a LOT, and need to be able to sort it all out.
* Change 'Inbox' to 'Personal', and then under each section (Personal, Corp, Alliance) we can have an Inbox, Sent Mail, and then whatever else we want.
* Let us sort our own Corp and Alliance mail!!! If we don't want to keep something, let us delete it locally. Don't make it like a bulletin board; alliances should be able to manage that well enough themselves. (Or, if alliances whine about it too much, implement a whole spankin' new bulletin board feature and solve both issues.)
* Add a right-click 'report' option which lets us type a one- or two-sentence description and hit Enter, and that automatically files a petition or submits it to CCP's anti-macrominer thing or whatever. Down with ISK sellers.
