Ok, I know that Arazu doesn't have a great reputation at the moment. However, if you were to fly one, how would you fit it?
The fit is not a solo gank fit or anything like that. Assume it's for fleet operations, especially for recon/probing etc, and it should be build for survivability more than damage.
Highs: 1x Cov Ops Cloak 1x Recon Probe Launcher 2 left over
Meds: 10mn MWD Warp Disruptor II 2x Webs of whatever sort 2x Cap Recharger II (though I feel this probably isn't ideal) 2x Sensor Damps
Lows: 4x Not sure what to put here. Tank? Speed?

7 mids? What ship is that?
Cap rechargers.... Fail. Use cap relays if you don't know what to use them lows for. 2 Damps... Fail. They suck, use more. No sensor booster... Fail. You will be forced to warp out before you even get a single damp on a target, EW ships are always primary. -

Eh, screwed up typing the mids. I took the cap chargers out but forgot to delete them from my post.

Edited by: Nicholas DW on 31/12/2007 17:20:55 If you want a damp boat for "fleets" I'd go with a Celestis or the Lachesis (due to price and effectiveness in a situation where you're going to go down fairly fast in most cases) over an Arazu, but for small gangs/solo I've used this for a long time pre-Trinity with great success:
3x 200mm II (Fed Navy Tungsten) 1x Cov Ops Cloaking Device II
1x 10mn MWD II 1x Dark Blood/Electrochem Medium Cap Booster (400s) 1x Warp Disruptor II 3x Phased Muon Sensor Damps (Range Scripts now)
2-3x Overdrive II 0-1x Nanofiber II 0-1x Signal Amp II
2x Poly Carbon I (If you're going to rig it, I never bothered, and I've yet to lose an Arazu, record's probably going to stand as I've switched to the Phobos after the nerf :P)
Then either 8x light or 4x Medium drones, I've always liked 4x Hammers for solo, but hobbies or warriors are also nice.
You have limited cargo space because of the overdrives, hence the 400s for more cap control. It doesn't have the greatest lock time after de-cloaking, nor the greatest of damage, but if the prices come down on 'em low enough, it's still a decent ship.

Edited by: Haniblecter Teg on 31/12/2007 17:42:31 I dont think you have to nano the arazu, a simple tank is fine, esp. for fleet work. In addition, the rig slots should be used for ewar rigs, since damps are soo suckage atm. ----------------- Friends Forever

I had a similar setup in mind for solo purposes. Since I haven't tried it yet I was wondering whether this setup is viable for the following situation: not to kill, but simply to pin down BC/BS without them able to lock me. Besides, it will be deadspace, so no worries about fast mwd-ing vessels. Would this setup fit the job with an AB instead of mwd?
