Is there any good tools out there for using EVE with multiple monitors and clients? |

ISBoxer, I use that and it is great.
It does multiple games also. |

Thanks for the tip, but am not sure if i like the subscription based price....
Anyway, anyone got any other recommendations? I know of a tool called EVE Window Helper, but the development on it seems to have stopped... |

What do you mean?
Looking for something that can easily switch eve clients over to each screen and back, preferably with some kind of hotkey or single button, also would be nice to make a cutout of small parts of the eve screen, like what EVE Window Helper have. |

Hmmm if your card doesnt suppor multiple monitors you wouldn't be able to use those tools in the first place, so I'm not sure what you're trying to say :p
Yes, she could run two maximized windows without any 3rd party tools, but maybe she wants to run it fullscreen? |

What do you need tools for? I play two clients on two monitors with the following method:
The main client is in fixed window mode on my main monitor and the alt account is in standard window mode on the second monitor. The main client runs as normal and the 2nd runs with the /LUA app switches (i dont have the full switch to hand) to give it a seperate client configuration. |

I run multiple monitors and clients in windowed mode maximized (1080p max graphics) on each screen with no problems, just move my mouse to the screen i want and click what i want, no third party software required.
As mentioned before, maybe you dont have the right GPU for it? In which case software probably wouldnt help alot if any. |

Seems there is some confusion out here, running multi monitor and multiple client functions just fine here, but am looking for tools that may enhance the experience.
So therefor i would like a tool that might allow me to move clients between monitors with just a click or some kind of hotkey, am not always running the same account on the same monitor, it all depends on what am doing, so i have to switch around from time to time, and at the moment i have to go into the EVE option and switch the graphic option, which works, but would like to simplify the process a bit, with a hotkey for example.
Also, i mentioned EVE Window Helper, which have this neat function where i can select an area of one of the clients and it will make its one window which i can place where i want, which again gives me more flexibility to see more of my characters at once. But this one is not required, just found the function neat. |

running a radeon 5970 with 3 monitors im happy with the hydragrid-option from the catalyst-driver (optional download!) snaps a windowed program, i.e. an eve-client, to a user-defined grid

Very nice but unfortunately it only handles up to 24 inch monitors...
For my upcoming 55th birthday I plan to treat myself to a new TRI-Sli rig running 3 x 30 Inch monitors at 7680 x 1600. I got a $12K budget to work with and it's gonna be grand.... |

Looks like the ability to make live snapshots of parts of the eve window with the EVE Window Mode Helper, isn't working any longer, a really neat function i must say. Does anyone know of anything similar? |

http://virtuawin.sourceforge.net/
Some sort of open source Virtual desktop manager with hotkeys mixed with a new logitech keyboard with a bunch of extra keys, assign them to each desktop and other random functions. This is what you're looking for? I usally write one of these and then change it a month later when I reread it and decide it sounds stupid. |

Well, it's kinda hard to explain, but those that have used EVE Window Mode Helper should know. You can make a cutout off the eve client window, like the overview or local, and then that part becomes it's own little window which you can drag and place. This allows you to get valuable information in a lesser place, as you can stable the overviews from multiple clients on one screen, being able to see them all at once, for example. |

Eve allows you to use multi monitors, but if you don't have that, and don't want to "alt + tab" between instances of the eve client. You can try this software out.

Found this software on a different post on the forums, but couldn't find the thread again, so I hosted it just via EIE. |
