Dear Friends!
Yesterday I lost my lovely Curse due to station remodelling and some unforseen bad luck. Along with all the best speed implants. Then I thought I'd give this old slave set a try :D I fitted Damnation with faction/officer/t2 rigged passive armor tank and hoped I'd get a good fight. I was not able to shoot anything in this movie. But still it contains good tanking footage which some of you are eager to see. As the loss I have had in the 2 last days of this year is around 7-8 Billion ISK (and I'm out of ISK right now), I'll jump to my real life clone and take a break from EVE. Hope to catch you all next year! Literally.

As a Damnation pilot i have to admit: That makes my Amarr heart bleeding. 
Good example for one if not the best Armor tank ingame.

What was your fit?
And sorry about the loss, sucks dude, sucks, been there myself but "only" lost a HG Snake Set because I was doing something completely else than concentrating on EVE while traveling through highsec as an outlaw.

start repeatedly clicking warp some 10 seconds before your ship goes boom. will save you few bil isk next time.

He was indeed in a bubble due to that nasty broadsword next to him. And yeah, the bubble graphic on HICs is still bugged :(

Yet another reason we need a better warp scrambling indication.
Petition the loss and see if you can get your pod reimbursed. There was pleanty of time for your pod to get out before the crow locked you and from what was displayed on your moniter you shouldn't have been scrammed. Probably going to get denied but its worth a shot.

whats with all the uber tank?? he had no tank,just a massive buffer..he never tried to warp and hes approach to gate was the worst i seen..should have deaggroed in the beginning and since hes a missileboat he should have orbited the gate on 500 from the start..bought char 4tl

1. Think you can do better tank in a non capital ship? Please tell us how. Damnation tank had more then 600k effective hitpoints. Happy fitting!
2. I never tried to warp, it was my choice to fight :D I knew TCF shiptypes several minutes in front and made the decision to engage no matter the outcome. If I'd knewn that they are my old alliance mates, I would have probably left. Yes, it might look stupid to you, me engaging 11 of them. But I have solo engaged bigger gangs and killed half. I wanted to kill vaga, ishtars and the huginn and then disengage. I even might have succeeded. I feel sorry for you if you are used to think about running. If I run it's usually towards the good fight.
3. I was sitting inside the gate ring, to make bumping harder. I'd like to see you orbiting the gate, while you have several webs on you? But I might be wrong, cause I bought the char.
4. I'm sure you can ask section13 and anarchica and other TCF members to put together same gang and come to fight you. Lets see how long your movie will be. Otherwise people might think that you have big eyes and a similar mouth.

this would have been especially sweet if after about 4 minutes your gang comes outta nowhere and ganks them. would have been the best bait and gank.

Better chance of surviving in the pod. You eject, and most people won't realize it until the ship's gone and your pod has warped out.
