Thread with information on CLOTO, EVE-Mailing list, past lottos
This is the second FREE promotional lotto from CLOTO, this time celebrating New Years '08! Yes, that's right. A free lottery. No purchase required, just pick a number and cross your fingers.
One condition: You must post here after receiving your item, confirming that you got it 100% free. :)
There are 42 / 42 tickets remaining.
First Prize: Tech 1 Battlecruiser (of ANY race or tier) of your choice - as close to Jita 4-4 as possible, depending on availability.
Second Prize: Tech 1 Cruiser (of ANY race or tier) of your choice - as close to Jita 4-4 as possible.
Third Prize: Free ticket for the next paid CLOTO lottery.
RULES:
LIMIT ONE TICKET PER PERSON!
If you request a number that has already been taken, you will simply be rounded to the nearest available slot. So make sure to check the list a while after you post.
The winners will be determined by the US Powerball drawings (red ball). http://www.powerball.com/ for more information. There is a drawing every Wednesday and Saturday.
The first prize winner will be determined the first drawing after all slots are filled, be it Wednesday or Saturday. The second prize winner will be determined by the next red ball drawing. (So, yes, you COULD theoretically win first AND second prize!)
The third prize winner will recieve a free ticket of their choice into the next paid CLOTO Lottery. To determine that number, the second red ball number will be subtracted from the first. If the second number is HIGHER than the first, then it will loop around - so 0 will become 42, -1 will become 41, and so on. This will allow everybody an equal chance at first, second, and third place.
How do I enter?
Simply post the number you want in a thread here with the character you want to enter with. ONE TICKET PER PERSON, PLEASE! This is FREE, so please be honest and don't post with 5 alts as well. Honor system. :)
I reserve the right to refuse a ticket to anybody that I suspect is an alt. Reasons could be jibberish names, newb corp alts with matching/similar names to other ticket holders, or any other reason I see fit. If you have a problem with this, I'll refund your ticket fully. Heh.
Where do I pick up my phat lewtz?
The prizes will be contracted as close to Jita 4-4 (as availability allows in the case of 'choose your prize' lottos) within 24 hours of the drawing.
