Accidentally placed a sell order for a Dominix at six million instead of 60M and it promptly sold, since there were buy orders in place.
Caleb Ayrania was good enough to make good on my idiot mistake, and return the ship to me at the price paid. This sort of decency deserves public recognition, IMO.
Many thanks!

I can hardly believe it, I doubt you can find many players willing to that.
It is a very nice gesture indeed

I guess I would have done the same - but not before having you beg for it a bit
Still, very nice indeed
Ciao, Aronis!

Yikes, thats super-nice, I'd LIKE to think I'd do the same... well, I probably would, because if I had 6 million then I wouldn't be a newbie and so I'd be willing to give it back (due to not being so desperate )
However, you're right, this certainly deserves recognition, and recognising someone with this thread deserves recognition, so, well done to you too :) .

Edited by: Candy on 18/03/2004 18:44:21 Why can people take half a second out of their busy lives and count zeros? If everyone did this, there would be a lot less whining. -------------------------------------------

Why cant people leave a nice thread alone?
You know, a long time ago being crazy meant something. Nowadays everybody's crazy. |

Salute to you Caleb.

Just curious, what do you mean by that?

Someone always has to come into a positive toned thread and say something negative.
Like griping about someone not counting their zeros.

Trolling is a popular past time (second only to smack talk I think). Some players can't resist pouring dirty water on clean dishes. --------------

Reminds me of Xaar. He travelled 60 jumps to give me back five 27% expanders that I had messed up on a Courier swap between charcaters.

I can't believe it either, I always learned that nice guys finished last.. But just to prove me wrong... Here is a TEST.
Caleb Ayrania gave up about 55 mil worth of isk, I've send 500k to this nice guy. If 109 people do the same, he is braking even. If more people do it, you have proven me wrong, cause he has made more isk out of being nice than being nasty...
I don't think you will prove me wrong... (sorry, I have little faith in Humanity).
Oh, and no, I am not Caleb Ayrania's alt, you can have CCP look it up for ya (although that would be a scam worthy of 55 mil isk )

Nice idea. Actually I bought it back for 7 so that he'd at least get a million ISK for his honesty; but he was willing to sell it back for 6.
It's good to know that not absolutely *everybody* is more concerned with making money than friends.

I haven't got 500,000 isk, one isk it is then!
And, sorry, I didn't notice anyone being mean in the thread, some insults and bitterness go right over my head :) .
