Lag issues and poor development concerning it have been around for years in EVE; people should be surprised that it hasn't been yet properly dealt with. I like the train of thought that says 'fix lag for 200 people will just bring 400 people in'. Why bother doing ANYTHING at all when there may be more problems anyway? Such a stupid argument.

Actively marketing the game as fit for 'large fleet battles' when, as in it current state, eve is not capable of caping with. Unless you like looking at a static loading screen. Or watching your hull drop piece whilst you wait for your armor rep to finally kick in (3 minutes after you click the repper icon) or watching the cloaking screen load for ages, only to be granted with a glimpse of the inside of the medical clone destination station when eventually everything catches up and realises you are dead. this very much obviously is not cool. That aside, having petitioned a recent ship loss due to lag, given a pot responce, then requesting an escalation, being told by multiple people that if i DO escalate and nothing is found wrong, could lead to a permaban REALLY annoys me. wether that is hearsay or not, i dunno. im only 6 months old. but the way the petition response was worded makes me think this is very true. 'make sure you are sure of the implications before you do' (escalate)pretty much in my mind indicates this. How can you prove or disprove lag? But nevermind. Dont get me wrong, i think the GAME is awesome. however, i think certain aspects are lacking. Customer service and delivery wise. yes, this is an alt :)

Man, 2/3rd are docked. So it isnt and it cant be. Just accept how this game works now. Get fun out of it as it works with the current limitations. Its still a great game. And stop whining fgs. Not even CCP blame the limits of available hardware, they often blame bugs for lag though ... And they have written several times that most performance problems are due to the fact that most stuff in a system is handled by only 1 CPU (core?). The "tech" offers affordable systems with 8-16 CPU cores these days, so no blame for them, only for the software ... Disclaimer: I do not speak for the fanbois.*

As Xoduse stated... you probably would want to say please. And for clarification if that doesn't help you understand OP lets think of this like any other SERVICE in life. Since this game is a service after all. You go to an icecream shop and there are no cars outside the ice cream shop. You walk in, and there is no line, you get your icecream in 3minutes. You go in another day and the parking lot is packed. The line is almost spilling out the door, obviously the service won't be as great as the previous day. But do all the people in the back of the line start screaming "Give me my ***** icecream like it says on the sign you**s!!!" Posted - 2008.01.02 01:08:00 - [54] tbh i cant believe how many people have replied to this post and are HAPPY that they are paying for a game thats doesnt actually work the way its intended, and are happy with all the problems that have been occuring for years. Its not the point it has problems, people understand games have bugs,its the point of how long these major issues have been going on the lag problem has been a like this for a few years, and more server intensive updates are happening more players subbing, and the problem never gets sorted, people want CCP to get the issues resolved first before adding more content thats all, and i agree. So instead of flaming be constructive and talk about the problems or at least agree there is a problem and see how we can improve that as a community

As Xoduse stated... you probably would want to say please. And for clarification if that doesn't help you understand OP lets think of this like any other SERVICE in life. Since this game is a service after all. You go to an icecream shop and there are no cars outside the ice cream shop. You walk in, and there is no line, you get your icecream in 3minutes. You go in another day and the parking lot is packed. The line is almost spilling out the door, obviously the service won't be as great as the previous day. But do all the people in the back of the line start screaming "Give me my ***** icecream like it says on the sign you**s!!!" No, because they are civilized human beings. Exactly. Some people just need to chill out and be thankful for what they have. I'd rather have a laggy (which it isn't, BTW) EVE than no EVE at all. The OP should go /wrists.

Of the 279 people waiting in the line, about 1/3 are wearing masks and shouting "STFU! the service is FINE! it's YOUR OWN FAULT for coming here"... When you order chocolate ice cream and get mashed squirrel mousse, you are kindly asked to send a letter to the customer service, which is available once every 3 weeks and usually responds with "I am sorry, we checked with our personnel and found nothing wrong with our service".
