E&B was terrible. I'm surprised it lasted this long. ---------- [ 2004.05.06 05:12:04 ] (combat) Your 250mm Railgun I perfectly strikes Guristas Invader, wrecking for 155.7 damage. |

I was going to post soemthing about this, so I will stick in this topic.
Eve should see if EA will allow them to send abunch of introductury subscripions to the E&B players so as to increase Eves life.
The only thing I liked about E&B as I betad it for awhile was the ship custumization, I wish you could through some decals or something on our current ships to differentiate them a littile. Otherwise I really disliked E&B

Already there seems to be a pretty big influx of new characters the past few days.. _______________
The sword has to be more than a simple weapon; it has to be an answer to life's questions

I think Leland's suggestion is a good one...
Please CCP, don't let this happen to EVE.

E&B was awesome. Until late 2002. Then EA cut some of the funding. The new character classes that were going to be released in December 2002 were postponed indefinently. And the content slooowwwweedddd.
Then in April 2003 EA cut more funding. Then I quit. I knew it was over for E&B--EA never really cared for it.
If EA had kept the funding, E&B, IMO, would be better than EVE by now. It would have at least 100 systems, hundreds of thousands of players... PvP of course, and everything you could possibly want.
But after December 2002, only 3 months after release... Earth and Beyond was already doomed.
And by April 2003, it was a bunch of crap. Worthless.

EnB still had the best crafting system I've seen in a MMORPG to date...

So true... . It also had things that EVE needs...
1. When you target a ship... HAVE IT SHOW UP IN 3D YOU SILLY DEVS
2. Rare loot. As in things that are special, not just a slightly better version of a market item.
And so on

How do you think that what the npc's drop isn't rare loot?

There is a trial offer available for E&B players that wish to take a look at Eve. One such offer can be found here:E&B to Eve Trial Program
Some E&B players are already experiencing Eve and all it has to offer. The STAR division of ISD has been tasked with greeting E&B migrants and showing them the differences between the two games.
I think we'll see a lot more E&B players making the switch to Eve in the near future.
