[23:54:50] Penguin21 > *comandooo
is an alt used to infiltrate corps that the main's 17 man corp then wardecs.
It's bottom feeding scum, 2003-2004 players wardeccing a bunch of noobs just out of the academy, but such is eve.
I was shopping in jita to replace a geddon lost to BoB ( who actually have the balls to fight somebody who is a challenge) when I jumped into a system, and say some pretty pathetic smacktalk, the guys main was bragging about his ***** size in local.
convoed the aggrieved party, and gave encouragement, advice ship setups, ect.
intermio was apparently so appalled by this, that they had to send a spy into the corp they had wardecced, to see what was going on.
Pathetic.....

your right getting intel on a corp that you want to wardec is a bad tactic.
that and most noobs dont give a good fight at all

Firstly, Comandooo has nothing to do with Interimo, your log proves absolutely nothing at all. A member of Stardust Assassins saying another Stardust Assassins name, great proof sherlock. Secondly, why don't you search my employment history, search all of our guys employment history. 60% of our players are from 2007. We don't have any 2004 players at all. Our Ceo's character was made in 2005, however he stopped playing for awhile, and returned in 2007. Starting out by lying and exagerating the age and details of our members gets you off to a bad start.
Post the smacktalk here please, I'd love to see it. Oh, and please do provide your advice to Stardust Assassins, since they don't use their ship bonuses and have passive targeters on PvP setups, you'll only be doing us a favour.
You seem like an alt to me to be honest, member of a 2 man corp. Sorry to offend you if you are not an alt. Just looks to me that way with the ****posting, & Bull****ting.

Yes, it's pathetic that experienced players attack newbs. It's pathetic that they even go to the trouble of sending a spy into the target corp.
What did you expect? They are rats. The rat career path draws to it low lifes. Every game online has this type of player in it. EVE provides for them with a career. You have to love a game that caters to everyone.
Not all rats are scum sucking crumb lickers. It's just that most of them seem to be. It should come as no surprise to run into a corp of them that are.
In addition to the advice you've already given the target corp, you should mention it might be a bad plan to recruit while under war dec.

There are all kindas of things you can do.
Assume when war dec'd you enemy has already placed a spy in your corp.
As most war dec'ing corps will not attack unless they feel they have the advantage.
Use this to your advantage and provide disinformation to your enemy.
If your not interested in a full war with the enemy u can try the following.
Set your Public HQ with alts docked there.
In your corp discription, has these alts listed as "officers of the corp"
Setup your CEO as an alt, docked at the "public HQ"
Once your enemys have started seiging your "public hq"
Wait a day or two... then
stage a fake defensive with alts, including the CEO alt.
Use cheap ships, mixed frigates maybe cruisers
Expect the alts to lose the battle, run the defensive twice.
Then have the alts perma dock in the "Public HQ"
Expect ransom notes from your enemy, stating how awesome they are.
Let them explain how they've decemated you, and they want X millions of isk.
Now ignore them, leave the alts logged in and afk in the station.
Have your regular memebers at your "private HQ" running regular operations.
uneffected by the war, mining and running missions, making isk.
Make sure your private hq, is over 10 jumps away.
Give your attackers no information of any kind.
Other then a simple later stating they are wasting their time.
They will get nothing.
Watch them camp your alts for the few next days, perhaps for the next 2 weeks.
Hoping you'll try another offensive & or pay the ransom.
Warning: It wont' work if their spy/informent is tipped off.

A good tactic against spies is to keep your corp as disorganized as possible. That'll confuse them and relay utter nonsense to their masters.
Yeah, we pirates know how to deal with spies.
Now where's the plank. Wadda you mean, it got stolen by spies in the corp? How could they know we were going to use that?

Being a spy in somebody elses corp sucks.
People are usually morons, something of a universal constant. Just getting a new person in your own corp is arduous enough, getting use to how much of an annoying git this one new person can be is pain plenty.
Joining an alliance, or joining a new corp (as a spy or otherwise) introduces you to a whole bunch of knobs in one big hit. As a non spy in a new alliance or corp, it's easy to press "Leave". As a spy, it sucks, because you have to stay there, you have no choice to ditch your 50 new best friends.
The only good bit about spying I find is being on your enemy's voice comms. Only the instantaneous gratification of voice can let you know how weak, ineffective, immature, damaged and generally stupid your victims really are.
Sadly this only good bit, is also the worst bit. Listening to self righteous idiots spouting forth the same old clap trap that they think is new and original to themselves for hours on end really gets you down about life...

Research the people you recruit better.
Some people just like to increase their member count, disregarding where the new guy comes from.
Wake up, get info and backgrounds checked on the applicant(s), and if too much is uncertain, dont recruit em.

in SDA's defense......... if commandoo was indeed a spy, he handled it a bit more creative as most people in this thread seem to think
Commandoo was in our old corp, Eternal Reign. We were befriended with SDA, and when Eternal Reign disbanded they offered to take most of us up. Also when he joined SDA they had no clue anyone was gonna wardec em.
So its not like they just took a random recruit in during wartime.
for the rest it is not my battle. If he was a spy he played it very well, he seemed genuine and was pretty funny from time to time. Ofcourse i do wish SDA the best of luck in the war \o.
p.s. tbh i hope topicstarter would have some more proof than stated, i find it hard to believe someone would go through that much trouble to infiltrate a corp that dont even know they're targeted. |
