If I got all related skills at 5 (mechincal/ecnryptions/starship) will that give me at least a chance of 50% on a cruiser? Ye I know I can still fail all of them, but I am curious what my rough chance should be. I do it in batches of 10 btw

Its purly chance based.
sometimes you have a very high sucsess rate, and on the other batch you fail nearly everytime.
With all skills at 4 i have about 30 - 35% sucess rate using the +9 run decryptors.
Its hard to tell how much increase you get per skill level. Personally i think its 5% for each level so make that 5*5*3. Which will give you a 75% chance before decryptors.
But thats just what i think :) Not sure if thats true.

I think that eve meep will do this calculation for you though I cannot say that I have tested the number it produces for ships nor for anything post-trinity. It seemed to agree generally (+/- 10% which was well within the Poisson expectation for my number of samples) with what I got for mods pre-trinity.

Base chance for cruisers is 25% (datadump)
thats roughly 31,25% for maxed out skills (this is debatable could be a little more or a little less)
multiplied with decryptor bonus if any.
Should give you:
18,75% with -2ME/+1PE/+9 run decryptors
or 56,25% with -1ME/+2PE/+4 run decryptors
or 31,25% with +1ME/+3PE/+2 run decryptors
or 37,5% with +2ME/+5PE/+1 run decryptors
or 34,375% with +3ME/+3PE/+0run decryptors
using built cruisers has neglible (if any) effect on the success rate.

No. Maybe 50% with the max chance decryptor.

You are insanely lucky. Base on a cruiser is 25%, with the +9 decryptor you are looking at 15% with the +9 decrpytor. Even frigates without a decryptor your chance is 30%.
Skills have very minimal effect. I don't think you've done enough to work this out yet, try guessing again after you've done a few hundred.

What are the names of the decyrptors? The descriptions suck.
I think the 56% is the war stragon
the 37.5% is the sacred manisfesto (sp?)
Also what do you guys get as the normal amount of runs for a hac bpc from a max run cruiser BPC? If you use the decryptor please say the name.
