You may write me down in history. You may trod me in the very dirt But still, like dust, I'll rise. Does my sassiness upset you? Why are you beset with gloom? 'Cause I walk like I've got slaver dogs biting in my living room. Just like moons and like suns, With the certainty of tides, Just like hopes springing high, Still I'll rise.
Did you want to see me broken? Bowed head and lowered eyes? Shoulders falling down like teardrops. Weakened by my soulful cries.
Does my haughtiness offend you? Don't you take it awful hard 'Cause I laugh like I've got Vitoc mines Diggin' in my own back yard.
You may shoot me with your words, You may cut me with your eyes, You may kill me with your hatefulness, But still, like air, I'll rise. Does my defiance upset you? Does it come as a surprise That I dance like I've got megacyte At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the pods of history's shame I rise Up from a past that's rooted in pain I rise I'm a tribal ocean, leaping and wide, Welling and swelling I bear in the tide. Leaving behind nights of terror and fear I rise Into a daybreak that's wonderously clear I rise Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave, I am the dream and the hope of the slave. I rise I rise I rise.

And thus .. Fellow Amarrians .. with this presentation, I conclude that intoxicating liquor causes irreparable damage to the area of the Minmatar brain which houses the ego. In conclusion, Ale and spirits should be kept at arms length of all slaves.
I hope you enjoyed this 'show and tell' presentation.

stand tall brother. you do us proud. this sneering is to be expected of the amarrians who think they have a divine right to subjugate others. what they don't realise in their blindness is that there is no god, their beliefs are hollow. i pity them.

Brother Tomahawk Bliss,
whatever your standing and re-rising is called, however it is commented, yours is the spirit, the fire within us all, that can not be denied. 'tis the same spirit that has created one reality: We are still here!
Thus another reality is about to be formed while you read this: We will remain here ... and rise. ____________________________________________________

You amuse me Pulgor. Throughout my lifetime I have seen many, many Ammatar or Minmatar half breeds who have spent nearly all there time attacking the Minmatar cause and the Freedom Fighters way of life, Brother Lucas springs to mind. Along with that poor handicapped fellow who used to work for Sabbaoth.
Guess what? You're the only one of them who is still around old boy. They are all long gone. Either strung out on their own rhetoric (which is usually the case) or hunted mercilessly by those you chose to turn on. So, enjoy it while it last, I dont suspect I'll be seeing you a month from now.

You Minmatar have already got your heads in the clouds as it is. Your uprising will change nothing, as can be demonstrated by the vain attempts of your Terrorist brethren.
If you just accept our benevolence and goodwill in enlightening and uplifting you primitive barbarians, maybe then you could really rise.

You know, I had thought about that actually. At one point I was considering turning in my citizenship card and heading out to 0.0 and becomming an outlaw. However I have decided not to take that well traveled path.
I say let them hunt me. Pod kill me as many times as necessary, it dosn't change a thing. I am Pulgor of Ammatar and forever shall I remain, Pulgor of Ammatar. Sorry to dissapoint, Cyrus. -----------------------------------

I have spoken not more then ten minutes ago. Give it some time old boy! I never said I wanted to see you go either. Although I do get tired of zealots. Most of you could do with a stiff whiskey as far as I'm concerned.
And, let me say this. I never thought I'd see the day when Brother Lucas wasn't spouting his religious clap-trap all over the summit. But gone he is, and he showed infinately more resolve then you just did laddie.
Cheers.

Don't be dissauded by the cynics Pulgor. I am sure you can carve your own niche.
PIE was not given much hope when we started our crusade to defend Amarr from the various Minmatar groups which wish to see it and its traditions destroyed.
Yet we are still here defending our beliefs!

I'm sure he can as well. The only problem is that it's usually a niche of one. Most of these people come and go one at a time and rarely join large corporations. Which, I suppose is a wise move. No point in haveing your message drowned out in the sea of obsucrity that is the mega corp.
And Hardin, PIE was not exactly on it's own. You had the shoulders on giants to stand on, namely Sabbaoth's. Our friend Pulgor simply stands on a much smaller, more unstable pair of shoulders.
Plus, these Minmatar blokes will always need a punching bag no?
Cheers.

Well Cyrus, I'm condemned to an endless sea of getting pod killed. I've learned to accept that.
As for support, the only support I've had (With the exception of moral support) is my own. I'm pretty sure I can catch a break in the mayhem of getting podkilled as the "Minmatar punching bag" long enough to snag some ISK so I can get podkilled some more. And while their busy podkilling me, I hope that cva and other folks are running ammok in Pator. -----------------------------------

I was actually refering to PIE as the punching bag, but to each their own.
Cheers.

From what I have seen there are other Ammatar out there just waiting to be stirred to action. Just because others have failed in the past does not mean Pulgor will. He could be the catalyst which leads to a new movement!

Ah Sabbaoth - I am sorry but I know nothing about Sabbaoth other than what others tell me.
We are certainly not standing on their shoulders as few (if any) PIE pilots even remember them...
I hear rumours of their return. If this was true I would welcome it. It would be nice to see them have a real impact on the universe once again...

and still...we rise
The northern forest strides to the edge of the sea-cliff. At dusk birds tell the story in darkening boughs: The fortunate son has ridden for days to find the rock where his father left a Kuhmaak. It flashes in sunset--the boy knows in his veins and sinews the hilt will fit perfectly his hands. Red waves recall the blaze of that great forge where old gods are smelted down and new ones raised. The boy steps to the edge of the cliff and easily draws the blade

Rebellion comes in many forms often times bloodshed is the only noted method, the only one considered for the annals of history. Yet, disregarded is the mindful rebellion, such as he here. An artistic form stemming from oppression is so full of heart. It can bring together many and herald them to the cause. A wonderful tool for rallying support, especially from those of an intellectual course versus the physical brute. Well said and stated Sir. Luck to the Minmatar, Opression is digression.

Edited by: Robert Fi'ania'Tharius on 21/03/2004 15:16:46 As a scholar of poetics ancient and nigh, I must comend you on your composition. It speaks highly of the spirit of those who are opressed. In ancient times there was one, perhaps her true name lost to the times, eroded by the fading memories of ancestrial lore, her name was Angelou, and she spoke of her oppressions in a similar fassion. I beseech you to keep the spirit sir, and you shall rise...I assure you, perhaps even be left in the annals of history alongside those who fought hard with blood and tears and those who fought with words..
