In the Eve cluster, the dedicated capsuleer bounty hunter is a rare animal. Pirates have always been active in plying their trade and we've even seen the professional mercenary business boom, yet while anti-pirating activity is something most groups dabble in there really haven't been many groups who have made it their raison d'etre. Outnumbered and with few specific tools available to them, the bounty hunters remain a rare breed.
Along the years, PAK has shot at a lot of people out there. Sometimes, there were good reasons involved and sometimes there were bad ones, but our reasons have always been our own. Lately we've more often than not engaged pirates infesting the low security zones of the empires, clearing these areas for legitimate business and peaceful interactions. It's not that we ever set out to be the good guys, nor ever really desired such a label, but that's just how it came to be and right now we find ourselves happier in choosing the good reasons for fighting over the bad ones.
As of this day, PAK officially becomes an anti-pirate outfit and our members become bounty hunters. We will continue to relentlessly pursue and engage outlaws and members of known pirate groups where ever they are to be found. No ransoms will be offered and no terms will be negotiated. At the same time, peaceful and law-abiding corporations who do not consort with pirates will never be in danger from our guns.
We will also gladly hear from those out there who are under attack by pirates or suffering the predations of corporations operating with malicious intent under the cloak of CONCORD's protection. Of course, we hope you will understand that we are a small unit with limited resources, so we might not be able to assist every party who requests our aid. However, we want to help you and if you contact us with your concerns there is a chance that you will receive our aid. Because we are not mercenaries, we will ask for no payment for our services outside of exclusive looting and salvage rights on the ships we destroy.
If any corporations or alliances wish to harbor old grudges from the days when we flew the black flag of the pirate, it is up to them. We understand that many in our ranks have committed various crimes in the past and we are not asking to be absolved of our sins, but we are offering you a new chance and a new beginning. Of course, should you still choose to agress us, we will reciprocate with the full force available to us.
As of now, PAK has gone legit.

We're low sec oriented, but in some situations yes, even if 0.0 politics can get a bit muddled. In quite a few cases though (like Snigg), it's pretty clear cut and we'll act accordingly.
