Greetings,
I have been trying to learn about trading, in particular in 0.0 space. I created a trade character and with ISK I have made over the past year, started to speculate in various market products.
I know that this might be taboo to ask on the forums but just curious. If you do not feel comfortable answering, feel free to e-mail this character.
I bought and shipped a variety of T1 Ship BPOs, mostly frig with some cruisers. After about a week, none have sold. They are all deep in a 0.0 station. The prices I asked for are not the base price I bought them but have a considerable mark up.
Just curious if their really is a market for such items. Am I being inpatient? There are about 12 ship BPOÆs on the market (not on contract).
Any thoughts?

Eh...
Very limited Market. You might find the odd person looking, but any corp that's established in 0.0 already has their own BPO/BPC stash to fill all their needs already, and most people won't even think to look for BPOs in a 0.0 station Market as they're just one of those things that aren't usually there. _______________________________ I need new voices in my head, To speak my secret evils with. More likely it is a matter of arranging pre-orders.
I seriously doubt there is enough demand to keep any stock on hand.

i would have got my feet wet starting with the ammo bpos. ships require too many minerals to be organized adhoc -- someone wanting a ship has to get the minerals, so that begets enough organization that they will source their own BPOs.

I had the thought of shipping up datacores specific for invention with the BPOS and then placing each on contract. Might be my next move to try and sell it all...

The players with the skills for invention will not be in 0.0 unless they have the means to supply their own BPO's and Datacore's.
The only industrialists that you will find in 0.0 are the ones who know more about what they are doing than you do. Unless you are making arrangements with them to fill a need they have asked you to, you are not likely to find room to catter to the industriallists.
It is much better to focus on what the combat pilots would likely purchase, as they will not have given as much planning to logistics.
