Knowing they are 1/10 or 10/10 really doesn't mean much to someone new to complexs. How hard are each level. And how hard are they for a skilled player? Can a vet solo a 8/10? or even a 10/10? what does it take to do a 10/10? etc etc =P

Edited by: Dirk Magnum on 04/01/2008 06:39:04 It's been awhile since I've done any static complexes, but I remember that a well-fit BC could do a 4/10 just fine. A 6/10 can be done with two or three ships as long as someone can tank hard (preferably in a command ship for bonuses.) I've never run one higher than 6, but a former corp mate ran a Blood Raider 7/10 in an Enyo, with an uber command ship pilot supporting. I have some screenshots of them doing it somewhere, I think.
edit: no it was a 6/10 they did that in. Blood Raiders don't have 7/10 complexes.

1/10 - Frigates (and the T2 variants) only, can be done in a noobship if you know what you're doing. Fairly easy to solo 2/10 - Destroyers & Frigs (and T2 variants)- should pay attention to the action. Easy to solo 3/10 - Cruisers and smaller allowed in. The last rooms can be a little...intense for the solo player if not prepared. 4/10 - Battlecruisers and smaller (T2 and T1...yadda yadda yadda) Not necesarily something you'd want to solo with a frig unless you really know what you're doing. 5/10 - Battleships and smaller. Can be soloed by cruisers and up, usually without too much trouble...again, be prepared. 6/10 - Dreadnaughts and Carriers can join the party since these are in low-sec and below. Bringing a friend might be a good idea. . . . 10/10 - Worlds of pain for you and all your friends. Some of the structures can OMGWTFPWN you in a single hit. If you can survive, this is a pretty dang good payout. Trying to do one of these solo....is a quick way to collect the insurance on your ship regardless of how good you are.
Shuttles and noobships can enter all complexes, but shuttles don't exactly tank very well, and noobships are little more than paper-mache constructs with guns.
Just about anyone can do a 1/10. They get tougher as you progress. Bringing a friend can make things a lot more fun, and things go faster as well. _______________________________

Has anyone ever cleared a 10/10? What kinda gear would you find at the end of that? Or has nobody ever seen?
