Can anyone here please help.
I want to set up a hi-sec pos in Heimatar but don't have the necessary standings for it.
If anyone can help mme out on this it will of course be beneficial to them either for a one off payement or other agreement made.
Of course this is an alt and I will be honest and say that the character I would do this with would not stay in your corporation after I have set it up and taken controll.
Regards!

It work in the opposite direction, you need to set up a corporation and someone with a high enough standing should enter it.
The POS stay with the corporation, independently by the person that has put it up.
So you need to find someone with a Minmatar faction standing high enough to help you, they usually ask for compensation for the service.

Can I set one up if I have high standings and leave the corp I am in and go back to a minmatar noob corp?
And if I can do that will I still be able to keep it running if I rejoin the previouse player corp?

Look on the sell orders forum for people advertising the service. It costs around 250M or so, and you will need an alt to stay in the corporation to run the POS. Seriously, read the High Sec POS FAQ before investing this kind of cash.

You seem to be missing another important point. The POS is the property of the corporation, not the individual. So if you set it up and then go back to the noob corp, you lose the POS. I sense you may have suggested that to avoid war decs, but the fact is that war decs is something you will have to deal with if you choose to run a POS.

Edited by: KISOGOKU on 04/01/2008 14:02:18 yes you can but than who will run corp/pos?You have to fuel pos so you need minimum 1 character in the corp and you cant use corporation's pos labs while you are in npc corp(only ppl in corp or if available in same alliance can use labs) If You only need ME/PE slots you can create a corp and join toa research alliance and rent an office in pos system. If you still want to(or need for copying/ invention) setup a pos you should know you need someone in corp to haul fuel and other materials for pos . create 2 research alts ,put to corp (dont do any missions with them) setup your pos or join to a research alliance and start doing your research.

Not trying to avoid wardecs at all. I tried with my character to do this allready and we have a couple of wars going pretty much all the time.
I wanted it in hi-sec where I run missions to regain sec every now and then and make ISK in peace, and if ppl did want to shoot it they would have to sit for hours to put it into reinforced with 30 or more BS's if I anchored a large one and stuck tons of hardeners on.
I think i'll start a 1 man corp and hopefully it will not take long for the new corp standings to be the same as my own and then rejoin my old one. Will this work and if so how long will the standings take to adjust?

How long it will take depends on your personal standings with your desired faction and how high you want get the corp's standings.
You can use this calculator.

nice tool thanks Lawbringer Qtzr.
1 more final question if I set a 1 man corp up with the standings will I be able to jump back to my previouse corp and still keep the POS so my other corp members can use it?

If I understand your question correctly ... you are asking that if you set up a POS with a new corp then go back to your old corp will the POS transfer with you back to your old corp? The answer is no.
But if you leave the new corp and the new corp has members they will still be able to use the POS even after you leave.
