After Seti corp drank all the Spirits at the corp party in Vullat station one. After lots of negative statements made about the state of Concord. Corp member Neftoon Zamora said why donÆtÆ we stage a protest and have everyone in Empire Space go to 0.0 for a day?
All that could be heard was the gentle hum of the Quafe cola dispenser humming against the hanger wall. Part of this was due to Neftoon falling out of his chair after yelling this out. Then a quiet murmur began to fill the room why havenÆt we done this before? There was no good reason that we could think of. With the upgrades being implemented at the jump gates by Concord we decided this should be feasible. So Seti Corp is calling for a day of exploration. On Sunday March 28 at 20:00GMT turn off that mining laser. Tell your agent you are taking the day off. We are calling for 200 or more pilots to join us on a trip to 0.0 space. New space pilots are more than welcome to come. ItÆs time for the small corporations to band together and show some unity. Bring whatever ship you want. This isnÆt a mining operation so I would bring weapons. Hopefully the races can keep there anger under control for a few hours and there guns in check. The plan is as follows.
We meet in a system in empire space. The system that will be the meeting place will be posted before March 28th.
100 pilots per group with 10 gang leaders.
If Concord determines that 100 pilots per zone is to much the numbers will be reduced.
Instead of 2 waves of 100 pilots we would have 3 waves of pilots or more.
The plan is to go to 0.0 space and have some fun traveling to certain points.
IÆm sure we will run into resistant. We are counting on chances for death and glory. DonÆt bring a ship your afraid to lose. DonÆt come if youÆre scared of being killed. We tried to secure insurance funding for this event but were turned down by our underwriter.
There may be problems with doing this we will see. Seti Corp decided instead of sitting around complaining we would try something different.
This event is for you if you want to have some fun and see lots of ships in one system.
Make sure you bring lots of Spirts. We may have prizes but are still working on that.
If you want to be a gang leader or involved in helping let me know by posting here.
If you will be participating in this event please post here. If you want to tell us we are crazy this may not work we already know that

Good luck with going into 0.0 space, just don't come into any Curse Alliance parts, u may find u get a fleet to meet u, and m0o will also have fun with u if u catch my drift.
Stick to some Empire 0.0 system

I think it's a great idea. Hell, it will get most of the noob corporations out and get a bit of pvp experience, instead of cowering in fear because they havent tried it yet. Plus, hey if CA and all of those others alliances are right about not being pirates, well then they should see this coming and say "ok, lets stand back and let these people through to have alittle fun". From the sounds of it, no one will be mining, so resource loss wont be a problem .Hell, that may even give CA some more ships to help out with their fight on mOo, hmm now there is an idea.
Well, anyways, that's my two cents on the matter. I would be interested in coming along, send me an ingame message about the details.

I say go wherever you want, but make sure you fly with alt characters that have cheap clones and no implants.

Lol.. 50-100 ships? You would need a large fleet to control them, and theres still the question: are the losses worth stopping some generally friendly empire guys taking a walk? ;) Especially considering that they would move out wihtout causing any problems later.
Better try to post guards next to stations, as they'll move from gate to gate most probably, those wandering to stations are easy to catch, and rather valid targets ;)

50-100 pilots would be a problem if they were in BS's, frigs and interceptors fitted for combat and would be skilled pvp players.
I imagine these are not.
But my bet is htey will be wise enough to avoid the Catch zone altogether.

Many of the lag problems reguarding fleets have been greatly improved since the last such frigate march. I've seen enough drones deployed around a station to create a perfect sphere without any lag. As long as the node itself can handle all of the people, I do not thing that having everyone on one screen would be that big of a deal. Just make sure you bring a good film crew.

Sorry but i have to agree that going to Curse/Catch would be suicide. CA fields huge numbers of pilots on the weekends and with m0o and Evol there as well you will stand no chance. Try and organise the journey into a safer region of 0.0, it will give people a lot more confidence if they dont get fragged first time out of empire space.
You never know, an alliance may even be willing to allow you entry to hunt npcs etc for an evening.
