Now see, THIS is the HUGE advantage of Firefox. it's extensibility through plug-ins allows smart people (like me) to completely avoid this type of thing. it's called "No Script". No Script globally disables any and all scripts embedded in webpages. All you get is a big box with the "No Script" symbol on it. You can choose to temporarily enable a script on a page by clicking on it, or by right-clicking the no script icon in the Firefox status bar, you can "Whitelist" a site to unblock all scripts.
