Thanks CCP for making POS more a pain in the ass by nerfing how many towers you can deploy per system. POS spamming is certainly a problem in 0.0 but ONE tower per day is absolutely ridiculous -- this means many systems would take over a month for a corp to cover every moon!
Not to mention this shouldn't apply to low-sec at all, which is what really has my goat at the moment!
There should be NO restriction on anchoring POS in low-sec and the limit in 0.0 is a complete hack workaround for a broken mechanic -- POS warfare! Fix POS warfare, don't implement crappy global non-fixes.
This is a serious WTF!

The one per day only applies if you don't have sov. Max 5 per day per alliance. If you have Sov you can anchor more (at least with sov I've done 4 the same day). And the 'nerf' came into affect about a year ago.

This happened several patches ago and was in the patch notes. Just because you dont pay attention doesn't make it stealth
Personally, i think the entire idea is silly

you can't hold sov in lowsec so it should be at least 5 per day there if it even applies at all.
but it's still ********, furthermore

Why does it really matter in lowsec anyway, just go back there the next day...

What? Over a month to pos-spam every moon in a system? Why that's just horrible. How are you supposed to get a ton of free isk without working it you have to WAIT a bit. What if other ways of getting isk took time, how would that look, eh? Oh.... right... other ways of making isk DOES take time... hmmmm.

Ah, gotcha. You don't have to wait a month do you? You have to wait a week. And over that you had to start this miserable whining failed thread? Get a life dude.

This has been about for awhile, but, as someone retired for 0.0 ping pong, lets see if I get this right.
If you have more corporations in your alliance than the opposing alliance you can take their systems faster than they can re-enforce them with towers of their own?
How many more reasons to spam POS on every moon do we need?

why should low sec be any different from 0.0? There are low sec wars on influence as well, and the limit is nice to have, in both places.

The limit is I believe 5 per alliance per system, the limit per corp is for non-alliance members. At least, when I had sov I could anchor 5 towers in one system within about an hour. Not sure what would have happened if I tried 6.
I think the limit per corp is there to stop corps from each anchoring 5 towers and then say... re-joining an alliance. This is a nerf to pos-spamming to take a system, not to pos-spamming to keep it. In reality these days the biggest alliances POS spamming is no longer a real issue, it's just more isk someone is throwing away. I imagine the smaller alliances that find it tougher to take down towers still hate it though.

Well at least it's not as bad as I thought. Still, once again the little guy suffers.
